This lag is getting beyond ridiculous

I have good Internet amazing PC and no lag on any other game but when it comes down to dark orbit its ridiculous. I am not the only one suffering from this my friends in ts and other people I know in real life are suffering. When is dark orbit going to start standing up and making their severs better because this past few weeks I am not able to even play with out my screen freezing up and getting destroyed. This is unacceptable and some thing needs to be done.

I for one have stopped playing for now on US West. Simple reason I can't with the lag that is happening. I have not played in 2 weeks now because of the lag. Won't start playing again until its fixed.

 

Have the same problem the lag is bad was doing a Gamma and Devos killed me that's ridiculous. Something does need to be fixed LabRat is right the last 2 or 3 weeks have been horrible.

I get two types of lag(not types, but you know):
1) Lag from playing too long. Self-explanatory and simple fix. Just relogging fixes it
2) Lag as in everything stops moving/shooting/whatever things do. Relogging doesn't fix it. Might be related to packet loss

 

I haven't lagged since mid last year. It was my ISP's Fault. Not Darkorbit.

 

Every one from my post and above are veteran from the USA West server. This not something you can just re-log and fix. Its been pretty bad. I have a account on USA East 2 and there is a bit of lag but nothing like West.

It's because of the browser probably I don't use chrome, use AVANT it has all rendering engines, or just go to advanced mode graphic and make some on high and some none or low or Average, as a tip.
Also change priority real-time ¬ High
Port forward? xd
If it's fps lag then that.
If it's ping, get better internet or use DNS, real-ip etc. Optimized net

 

I use Chrome, a VPN and a very crappy ISP and I don't have lag.

 

Today 2/4/ 15 usa west server has so much lag you can't play. Come on BP fix this issue, cleaning your cache does not fix it.

I play on west and i have 0 lag i even play multiple games at the same time all of them on top graphics and while doing crazy cubes last night. no lag even with 2 games open and music. its not DO's fault or EVERYONE would experience it not just a few people

 

Chrome spam click it will lower your fps like, fps drop and up again fast just picture and like continue playing, well in some pc's have that problem. ;p in int14 there's no players even... Expect 04:00 just like 50 online xd

 

It is funny how people post about not having any lag themselves. Well good for you, you are one of the lucky ones then. But the people like myself that do have SEVER lag, its not us. We all have stated if you would read all the posts about lag in forums. That it is only on Dark Orbit that there is a issue. All other websites that we use do not have this issue. So kind of interesting that his only happens on Dark Orbit and not other gaming, video streaming sites. There is a great article in Wall street journal the other day about gaming lag issues and how other companies are fixing it. Do a google search with "wall street Journal online game lag" and read the article. It is about firms power up networks for online players.

 

I don't think is it's from the internet connection, if it is you will teleport and some backwards you'll do and stuck.
If it's fps another thing get better RAM or try out all browsers
Not only in darkorbit lags but darkorbit has good graphic you know Or just graphic advanced background none, low - engines low all other high and some good.
I don't really have that problem now just sometimes When I play like 12 hours my RAM ingame gets 1gb and 200 mb's and then it starts to lower my fps like 61-34 Just close the page and re-open it
I am not lucky bcuz I've had lag too but I've fixed it only by myself.

Well guys The only thing is I don't use ISP, I use NAT and VPN that's all gl hf to everyone who got his problem fixed

 

I bought mine and I am not allowed to say the name of the product as it is considered a 3rd party program and posting it will be considered advertisement. I can say though that it is not against the rules to use it as long as it is not being used to avoid a ban.
