    Hi Guys,
not gonna get boring here but I need some info concerning The 3D graphics in game,

the computer I have is a High end system I run 2x 960 Geforce cards (GPU'S) i am able to switch the Sli Function off if required.
simple couple questions ( yes I am being lazy),..

    1. Can I find the specs allowed and required to run the 3D function, have tried but it tells me my computer is not up to the task,.. erm thats a no,no ( able to play world of warships with all the graphics maxed out ).

    2. Does anybody know if DO game disallows the use of multiple Graphics Card , does anybody use dual cards with out a hitch.

thats all for now , please understand that I am a total noob when it comes to forums

    thanks now

  2. check your 3D graphics settings you might have to update it or actually install it again to fix your problem with the 3D if 2d works for u then 3D should work so try that.

Richtee™, Have you verified Hardware Acceleration is enabled in Flash Player and it is the latest version? You may need to update to the latest version of drivers as well. The video cards should act as one with SLI and should not work any differently than a PC with a single video card.

    Best regards,

.-Raijin-., bob_splendy, Thanks guys, in answer to Hardware Acceleration and the flash player , all good but will recheck to be sure, the drivers are always checked on a weekly basis. 3D Settings, will look at that, I do have an issue with windows 10, still,.. seems the nvidia drivers are somewhat trashy still anyhow thanks again and for sure I will update the post when I have looked at the bits and bobs, cheers now

  5. Hello,
Whatever browser you are using will need to be specified in your Nvidia 3D Global Settings for optimal performance while playing in 3D mode. Nvidia will not recognize Dark Orbit independently as a game alone. So if your using FireFox, add FireFox as an application to your 3D Global Settings. The game does demand as much from your cpu as it does from your gpu, and some times even more! This is because the way Flash Player works, not because the dev team wants it to use the cpu. I would inquire more about your computer, but the fact is several of us can actually play the game on tablets and cell phones...So you should still be able to play regardless if your system is top of the line or bottom of the line. Also, you can have as many GPU's as you want the game's system will not block you for PC mods like that. Can you answer just a couple questions pleeeease?

Have you ever played the game from any other computer before?
Are you able to get the game window to come up after pressing start?
What Browser have you been trying to play the game from?
(some have built in Flash Plugin, some don't...its important)

    Good Luck to you!

    Hi ΨÊMPÊŔŐŖΨ,
my old dual Card set up worked fine, I increased the ram for the Mobo (Maxed the board out) replaced my old GPU's with newer 960's thats when I started to get issue, i then went over to win 10, thats not improved it as well.

    In answer to your questions
I have played from additional computers, but with additional accounts not my main
The game window now starts ok, that was a firewall issue , ported the game thru the firewall worked
I have tried numerous, but mainly enter via chrome

I think I need to sit down one day soon and hoover out the dust build up and reinstall everything from scratch see what happens then.

    Many Thanks

  7. Hi Richtee,
It sounds like your building it piece by piece, and thats how you learn a lot about PC's. Since you have been doing it piece by piece, I would agree with just Nuking the system and doing a fresh install. If you don't do a fresh install, you can do the following.

Install Nvidia's newest driver package. (No need to delete the old one, Nvidia launch ap does that)

Find your MoBo manufactuer and download your chipset drivers/etc for Win10.

I don't know which MoBo you have, so I can't make any suggestions on the GPU configs other than make sure if your MoBo
came with a onboard GPU, that it is disabled either in Bios or from a Control Ap.

If you've added new ram, make sure they are all Tuned properly, if your using a AMD platform you can use AMD Overdrive for that.

As always if the Hardware is all in sync check your antivirus specs.

Try using Firefox or Opera that require an external Flash Plugin installation.

Add those Browsers to NVidia's Global 3d settings.

Set your Flash Plugin for the game to High Priority in Task Manager.

I will still say go with the nuke and fresh install, just remember to grab your MoBo Win10 drivers ;)

    Good Luck!!:D

    Hi ΨÊMPÊŔŐŖΨ

The 3d option works fine on other Browsers, would seem chrome is a right good pile of ,... nope not gonna say that, lol

I will look for the win 10 drivers for my Mobo (Asus Rampage III Extreme), its getting on now but was and still is quiet a good mobo, will look in the RoG portion of the Asus site for the drivers. Cheers now

    Many Thanks

  9. Hi Richtee,

Yes sometimes the built-in flash plugin on chrome doesn't work well with some setups. I'm glad to hear you sampled other browsers and got the game to play. I checked into the drivers for Win10 with the MoBo info you provided, and it looks like your best bet will be to use the Win7 drivers. Win10 will update them from the Win7 versions if it finds compatibility from ASUS at any time. Make sure to find out if your running 32bit or 64bit before you go downloading the drivers. You can type System Information into the search bar by the start menu and click on the System Information tab after that. It will tell you which version you are using. Since you do have an unsupported OS model on your MoBo...In System Information you can also select Components, then Display to make sure both of your GPU's are being detected and used in conjunction with each other by your OS in System Information. Looks like you got a handle on it, and that is still a decent MoBo...I always go with Asus myself :D

    Have Fun!!

  10. Darkorbit doesn't really utilized GFX to their full potential. What you really need is a good browser, CPU and at least 8 GB RAM.

For browser, go with either Google Chrome or Mozilla Waterfox (64 bit version of Firefox)
