[TI] Can't repair my ship

I started playing again after about a year away and I setup my ship configs fine. Went out, blew stuff up, found out my hull was a little damaged so tried to use my Repair Bot 3 to repair, it is greyed out and can't click. But doesn't say CPU not equipped, just won't let me click. It shows up in the extended list above the hotbar but also greyed out there. When I remove the bot it doesn't show in hotbar anymore. I have tried the delete config for both my configs to see if that helps, nope. Tried to remove, log out and back in, nope. Not sure what's causing the problem though. Thanks for your time.

 

After looking at your account, I see that you have a repair Bot 4 and a few Repair Bot CPU's. What I would suggest is that you go to the hanger, remove the repair bot 3 & CPU from both configurations. Then install the repair bot 4 on both configurations, and install 1 Repair CPU in each configuration and then go out on to the map and see if it starts to auto repair.

When an item is greyed out in the Client User interface it usually indicates that the item is not installed on the configuration you are currently using.

I did as suggested, removed all, added the repair bot 4 onto both configs, added repair cpu on both configs (without any other modules) and no repair happens. And the control interface doesn't say it's missing, just greyed out. Any other recommendations?

 

wasn't there a work around where u tried to install a item and u tried to put in a drone first then the ship would recognize it and you put it where it should belong and it then would work

I forget the escentuals of this and it might not apply?
But somebody else will.

At this time, the best thing that I can suggest is for you to allow me to take a look at the ship itself. If this would be something that you would want me to do please provide the following information.

Unfortuantely due to the fact that you have a full nano hull, I could not test the issue in question. I did remove and re-install the repair bot 4 on both configurations... But could not test this. If you would like me to check this again tomorrow please let me know.

On my screen when I log in, my nano hull is 160,100 and max is 180,000. So far it still hasn't repaired.

 

The Nano Hull will not repair... That is additional Hull you have earned from the galaxy gate spinner. The only portion of the ship that your Repair robot is going to repair is the Green and Blues lines which are your Shields (blue) and Actual Ship Hitpoints (Green). The only way that the robot will come out automatically is once the yellow line is gone and the damage your ship is taking goes directly to the green line.

I hope this helps to answer your issue. Please let me know once your extra Nano shield is gone if the ship begins to repair as it should.
