[TI] Chat not working

For about a month now every time i log in to Dark orbit it says "connection to server lost" and chat does not work does anyone know any solutions to my problem?

Nothing we are told to do seems to work. The standard Clear and Delete History and Caches along with trying other Browsers is not fixing the problem but it is what we are told to do first. You will be directed to watch this >thread< for updates but then the last update was Aug 1 and did not cover the current 2 week old issue. Chat has been down for a lot of people since the update that was done at the time the Assembly System was added.

Since this thread is going to be closed as soon as a Mod sees it you will want to contact Support.

There are a number of things you can try before you write to support. Have you tried clearing your various caches? How about using a different web browser to see if the problem is there too? We would also recommend rebooting your internet router/modem to ensure it is not caching any faulty or outdated routing information. Once you have tried these things, let us know of your progress.

i have cleared my caches and that didnt work i tried another browser it didnt work and i rbooted the modem but nothing has changed i dont know what could be causing it.

You may need to contact support bigdaddy72 and see if they can at least check to see if your IP got blocked somehow (system has a bit of a mind of it's own I think).

As for the Americas-servers chat going down itself - I don't think it's actually happened in about a week or more now but we can only keep watching to see if it comes back and then report it again.

how do i contact support? I have never really had a problem like this before so im not sure where to go to contact support.

 

@bigdaddy72, there is a link my signature which you can use to contact support. It will bring up the support contact form for you, you just need to input the relevant information.

one problem it asks for email my email oh here i cant get into anymore so i cant change it to my present email

 

You can enter a different email if you need to for the actual contact one. Support may need you to tell them what the email registered to the account is though just to be safe (account/owner security and all that).
