I died in my kronos gate had chat then after i died i don't have chat any ideas of what it could be i have cleared cache and cookies and nothing thanks for the help

 

Yep, mine has been broken for 2 days now. Was killing ice meteoroid and refreshed to clear lag and chat has been down ever since. Atleast we can rule out it being and issue on my end.

Pretty good just trying to get back up in the top user lol. And if an admin checks this do we have to contact support for them to reroute us because last time they asked for my ip so I guess to reroute connection.

 

idk i was told by admin this morning that i was hit by a phantom ip ban whatever that means i got chat back then this evening i log on and bam no chat again they can never fix anything for very long i guess lol

The chat system itself isn't down at the moment, so best case scenario really is that the IP ban issue is at play for you both.

Essentially that means for whatever reason (unknown to us, although possibly a bug of sorts) some IPs are turning up banned, and in some cases repeatedly 'banned'. This is an issue we've reported and it is being looked into, but in the meantime the only thing we & support are able to do is look into lifting them - sometimes over & over again.

My best advice is writing support with your IP (that way it keeps your IP from being posted within forum, even privately with chat section although that is your choice ultimately for this issue), they'll check it based on your server and lift so long as there's nothing to suggest the ban was purposefully placed by us.

We realize it's a bit of a pain having to let us know over & over again, but until there's some resolution there isn't much more we can do.
