    I want to build new computer and i play mostly dark orbit, so i am stuck at this question: Is it true that dark orbit (because its flash game) use mostly one core on the CPU? is it true ?
    i dont know what CPU to get because for instance i can get intel CPU with 2 cores that do not have Hyperthreating, so 2 cores and 2 threads. I can get and AMD CPU with 4 cores but the Intel have better performance per core. Do that mean if i get intel with 2 cores i will run dark orbit on better fps because of better performance on core or dark orbit uses all cores and if i buy AMD with 4 cores but worst performance per core that will not have effect on fps ?
    Do i need Intel pentium g3258 with 2 cores or AMD x4 750k with 4 cores ?

    They should tell us what parts to get if we want to build a computer for darkorbit like just make a thread of the parts.

    get a good graphics card and run it in DO if u do get an intel built in card; make sure u have more than enough RAM 8 gigs ram should be fine.

    Then you need a good amount of RAM for that is what the cpu will use and a good processor.

    read the 3d post and it will show what others are using
    good luck and i would also get s graphics card

    Dark orbit is CPU dependent game, not graphics card. I read all themes in google about that and nothing ..

    As Dark Orbit is a web browser, flash based game and this is the technical section for in-game issues. We generally don't give advice on what the best components are required for a good computer that would help your have a better gaming experience.
    I can however tell you that I have a Quad Core system w/ AMD processor 8GB Ram and a Nvidia Geforce XT 650.

    I play dark Orbit wonderfully and rarely have lag with my cable connection.
    This is the best we can offer on this matter, but it is something to use as comparison.

    thanks for the answer, ASTRAEA, it helps, but can you tell us, what is the model of your procesor ,please? Is it something like AMD FX 6300, or AMD phenom II, or AMD athlon II x4 750 or what ?

    My processor is a AMD Phenom (tm) II X6 1045T
