    Hello,

i'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I've been looking for a while now and tried few things without progress. I get fps drops and my fps is around 40-50. Its so annoying to play with this fps. I tired Brave, Chrome and Firefox. I reinstalled flash. I checked hardware acceleration or whatever it is. My computer is good. I can run GTA5 on high easily with 60fps and ow on high no problem. I dont think the problem is hardware, just some simple fix I cant find.

I use the 2d darkorbit btw, that cant be the problem? Today I started playing again and noticed this crazy lag. I checked task manager and everything is below 50%. Internet is good.

    I cant figure it out.

Thank you in advance to everyone.

this helps the fps a bit. even though id prefer the 2d.
But I still do get fps drops quite often to 40-50 which is annoying.

  4. Try using Vivaldi. It works better than chrome and firefox based on my experience.

There are multiple reasons for low or lowering FPS.
Please go to Settings, on the game screen and put everything at the lowest possible settings then work your way through the settings, increasing quality gradually. This will help to determine what you computer is capable of handling.

I found, for me, that running no back ground on the maps helps tremulously.

    Thanks

Yeah I have all settings on low. I dont believe the problem is my computer though. I tried everything on high and the difference is literally like 99 and 100. So no difference really. I updated my drivers too. No help.

    Thanks,

There are a number of free FPS test available online. Have you tried one of those?

That being said, these are the simplest ways to increase FPS
    Reduce your resolution.
    Update your graphics card drivers.
    Change the game's video settings.
    Use PC optimization software.

Playing Darkorbit my FPS typically runs anywhere between 35-60 FPS.

Please keep in mind the more programs you run in the background the slower your PC becomes.
Also, a hidden and often overlooked problem is multiple computers running on the same modem.
I would recommend running a hard wire to your modem and not use wireless. When I do this I get 60 FPS.

    Thanks
