[TI] gg generator still slow as a snail?

  1. why has this gg generator been so slow............?
    I like to spin in 100's and 1by1 I don't want to sit there for an hour spinning as the clicker is slower than a granny on wheels ..whats going?? on how come there has been no mention of fix its been like this for months .. ???and its now beginning to annoy me
     
  2. It has not been brought up in the forums and has been this way as long as I have been around (in the game) and is not an actual In-Game issue so would be classified as a LOW priority problem.

    The galaxy gate materilaizer has many options for spinning. 1 /5/ 10/ 100 and the time it takes can vary to the amount of lag your computer experiences. The fact that it works slow could mean that you may need to clear your browser history or your flash storage data. But updating this portion of the game...as I would see it - is a low priority.

    I totally Agree. I spend 2 hours to 3 hours doing a suite of gates at a time 1 spin at a time. I even fall asleep doing it, like i do pally. It is really funny falling asleep and waking up still clicking away, lol.
     
  5. I know this experience, I was a hardcore cookie clicker player, now I have enough skill for EE clicking...

    i stopped using x1 click because it was too long, i would make good amount of uri if on the other hand i spin using x1 multiplier so now i use x10 but mostly x100 when there is gg discount.
     
  7. You dont know the issue now Astraea. In global europe 1 the gg generator is 4 - 6 times slower now than it was a month ago. Before you could click there 2 times a second now you can click once every 2 seconds and this is for every player in the server. The gg slowness started the same time the servers were under ddos attacks for several days. It's been extra slow for ALL players for a month now so I suggest you do something about it.
     
  8. This is the first time that I have noticed the slowness.
    Must be because of the "Red Kronus Days Event"????
    My computer does NOT usually LAG and I clear my cache and flash after each play period...........
    Why can you people not take some ownership for this game?
    It is NO wonder that long time players have and are leaving in droves.
     
  9. As with any Server Based ACTIVITY the more people using the service the more delay there is in the actions. This happens on video sites that STREAM instead of download, in games when there are a lot of people using the same partition of the server, on business computers when everyone tries to print documents at the same time. YES it is going to be slower spinning gates when everyone is doing this instead of playing in the maps. The fact that people are either picking Palladium, opening gates, or running gates, these sections of the server are going to be lagging or reacting slower than normal. Not that I want to provide excuses for D O but these are some causes for the lag people are experiencing.

    Thank you for you assistance with this players issue, I am aware that the DDos attacks have caused some issues in the past with the effectiveness of the servers performance. The information from those events was passed on to the technical team for investigation. I will say that the information provide by HelpMeHelpYou is in so part correct, If a large majority of players are actively participating in gates or building gates this will slow the process down. Many have seen this same lag issue during spaceball events.

    I will pass on this issue and request further investigation on the matter.

I cant agree ,as ive been playing the game years and this has recently become an issue I noticed it maybe 2-3 months ago and its an annoying one id rather not do gates then sit there waiting spin by spin so I have just been doing 100 by 100 as its quick and less time consuming please get this fixed has nothing to do with amount of people on the gate page the population has decreased in the thousands this was not an issue before ...???
     
  12. Years ago we only had 4 gates to do and we did not have Gate Farmers. Now we have 11 gates and so many Farmers that the game itself is dead. We currently have the majority of the players doing 1 of 3 things in the game and the wallets are doing 1 of 2 things which is causing the problems in the game currently. The 2 things in common are Hunting (PvP) and Gates, the third is Pally or Boxing (which to me is the same thing). People are not sitting on port protecting maps (fat chance this does now with the AJP-01), not protecting NEW players to enjoy the game, not assisting the weaker ships kill the many larger NPC's they need to advance in the game, BUT they ARE helping themselves to a false illusion of how good they are because they are in the top 50 of the game because they are farming gates.

    You are correct the populations have dropped (on the servers) but the people who have left the game are not the ones doing the Gates, they have left because they can not afford to BUY the gates and play in their PRIVATE arena and are being killed by those who decide to come out and Hunt when they are not doing Gates.

    So spin your 100 spins and waste the Uridium on Multipliers that give you more Xenomite and deny the issue is because the people are clustered in one area of the game, but do this one test for me, the next time we have a Kronos Weekend do a Spin Test (say 100 spins INDIVIDUALLY) and then do another in the middle of the day during the week and tell me there is not a difference in the time it takes to do them.
