[TI] Glitch Found

I assembled a Centaur and went to find it in my available ships and could not see it in my list.

I found it when I started looking at my "Favorite Hangars" funny thing is I had 10 ships assigned already. When you expand the Hangar bar (not the Hangar) you can see I can select 11 ships and I have 10 ships available in the in client warp window. Does this mean anyone assembling a ship is going to be able to have more than 10 ships in their Favorite Hangars?

I currently do not have the equipment to have 11 fully operational ships and therefore do not see this as an advantage just a glitch that has been seen in my accounts that I assembled the ship with 10 occupied Favorite Hangars.

 

Can you please provide a screen shot of what you are doing to achieve this, so that I can pass the information along correctly.

NO but all you have to do is have 10 ships picked as a favorite and then assemble the Centaur and it automatically assigns it to the Favorites list. I do not know how to post pictures in this forum and do not have an online storage source for images.

 

I have 14 hangars now
http://prntscr.com/cxyktl shows the finished row of starred hangars... this has been mentioned in the Discord chat some time ago for sure though I cant find a Bug Report for it...
I think it happens for me when I receive reward ships on Special gate reward days as I have never crafted any ships ... I also dont have the equipment to need this possible glitch so never saw it as an issue

 

I currently have eleven hangers but still have a few ships I have not favored. I will put a star beside them and see what happens.

Side note: When I assembled the Red Spectrum it did come as a favored ship although I had not favored it yet. My 11th hanger is the "Saturn" which I just finally got from Kronos Gate.
Hmm I just went to try it and favor another ship but I get the "you can only favor 10 ships.

unselect which ships you don't want .... click the ship then the yellow star till you have 10 hangers . Then reselect 1 ship to see if the 11th hanger opens back up . I would be disappointed if I lost a ship to a ' ghost hanger ' / glitch ...

 

You are not losing any ships but it seems that awarded or crafted ships are automatically added to the favorite hangar system.

ASTRAEA you are correct we can not assign the extra hangars it is an automatic thing and do not understand why it is happening. I have it on my us2 account with the information you want in my signature. 11th hangar is the Centaur I crafted on Friday.

 

I was up to 13 hangers after crafting the Vanquisher which became my 11th hanger then crafted the Centaur thus becoming my
12th hanger .... and on the 22.10.2016 - 15:02 Received item: Ship - Spectrum from a booty box creating my 13th hanger. .... I can select any of my ships not assigned/earmarked as favorites and load it up and it will appear in hanger #7 . So as a solution to my observations I deselected every ship , removed All extras from all my ships , drones , including lf4's and replaced them with lf3's . Outfitted a basic goli to basic FE status. I now operate from 2 hangers.Now I'm using the 2-D software mode. I'm going to try that
until DO fixes the Hanger . Back to basics may solve my flash problems as well. Also when I'm on the Skylab page I cannot use the hanger expansion to switch to another ship it will not re-direct to the hanger , all other front page folders will re-direct me if I use the hanger expansion . The only other problem I have noticed is while on the Skylab page the drop down has the sub folders in which appears [ item upgrading ] which already has a primary [ upgrades ] menu . Why have 2 of the same folders ?

 

They have a quick link to get to the UPGRADES and if you notice it takes you into the SkyLab section. I believe it was done as a convenience so people did not have to remember it was part of the SkyLab to access it. Many people still ask where to find information how many parts they have for the Zeus and Apis Drones because they forget it is part of the Tech Section of SkyLab which is where I have a glitch with not being able to see how many pieces I have collected the bar is there but no counter at the bottom and the yellow bars do not equal how many parts have been collected as I have 45 of the bars and showing less than 40 on the scale with no actual numbers below the guage.

No just wanting to make sure I do not have to worry about "EXPLOITING" a bug because I use the extra Hangars when they are given by the game.

 

I have made a note to the report... Have faith, They are aware you reported it.


UPDATE (Oct 27, 2016): After reporting to the DEV team - here is the response I received:

We want players to be able to immediately find the
new ship they just received from a booty box in their Hangar, therefore we mark
it as a new favorite. That these players have more than 10 favorites for the
moment does not cause any other issues, this is the intended behavior. I hope
that helped to clarify things.
