    I have 100 mb of download speed and 15 mb upload, yet I cannot place an image on my profile..... what the heck is wrong with you and your website?

    Avatars can't be any bigger than 39.1 KB (which is pretty small) so that is probably the issue.

    What size is the image? It has to be pretty small to go here.

    Mephistophelean, can i ask whether you have tried to upload an image which meets the size guidelines for the avatar?
