[TI] Issues with client and backpage

Hello guys.

Can we please ask those who are still experiencing issues, to please post your User ID and server, along with a small line of the problem they are experiencing. Please note that i am referring to the current issues (e.g. those that have occurred since the 3D update).

For example:
User ID: 123456789
Server: US1
Problem: Press "start" but client fails to connect and i get a black screen.

If possible, it would also be very beneficial if you could provide us with a 'HAR' report (essentially debug logs) for those users who use Chrome. The steps on how to do this can be found below;

It appears that the HAR reports cannot be uploaded to the forums, therefore please send these as an attachment to support. (attach them as a reply to the automatic response)

Problem: When i try to load game in 3d- i click start and then it ask me to download around 15 zip files and a black screen appears. The zip files are named ( emp_2, emp_emperor_2, collect_cargo_2 ...etc)
i made HAR report but i dont know how to attach it here..

 

That's great! Are you able to "Upload a File"?

 

i dnt see upload file option.. for me its just post reply and more options tab and in more options there is still no option to upload file.

 

I can confirm, the "Upload a file" button that the red arrow is pointing to is missing, while the other two buttons shown are present.
This probably requires higher privileges... but would be a good idea to allow attachments for ordinary members as that is usual way other software and gaming forums use to solve customer problems. It is also very quick, since no third party file hosting services are needed.

 

so it seems like i wasted my time writing here nd making HAR thing.....

I have been trying to figure out a way for you to upload the HAR file to the forums, however i couldn't seem to find any functions (appears the "Upload a File" is a special permission for mods). Therefore could you send the file directly to support as i do feel it will still be helpful for support, especially as the issue you are having appears to be rather unique with the zip files.

If you are able to contact support, it may also help support if you can provide them with details such as the operating system and browser that you have been using.

Im having random issues when i am playing, i can be flying, shooting, or idling at port typing. I keep getting the "Connection Lost" message with the two buttons, reconnect or logout. This is happening literally every 30 seconds for up to 20 min, then itll stop and come back later. It doesnt seem like im having internet problems on my end, and before the 3D i literaly lgged for maybe 2 min the past month.

i have the same issue keep getting dc if im inactive for 30 secs on cbs

 

new to the game, less then a week. while using the jump gates, I jump to the next map an no objects load anywhere. I can fly around and only have the map borders, no gates, no ships NPC or on-line players, just space. I have to log out and back in to get the objects to reload.
do you have a / command that can reload the gui or game space, or add one. ty

 

i dnt think there is any command to reload the gui.. you got to reload ur page and try clearing cache hope it fix the problem...

Just accept that the game is on its way out, too many bugs, im stuck in UBA, logged out of backpage, shut window, cleared cache, logged back in and still stuck in UBA!!

 

Ddraig, in your honest opinion do u think the game is worth playing anyore?

 

My game is running fine, FIREFOX, no latency at all, only notice bugs when dis-honest 3ps players are about? Game has never run as smooth as it does now! Might want to defrag your system etc, I know players forget to do this. Now if we could just get rid of the naughty players 3ps the game would bounce back in my honest opinion. I only came back when DO BP actually did something about the old 3ps players. We need new missions etc, I know new gg is coming, not what we really need right now. I think getting more players back is No1 priority!
