[TI] Killed the Boss

Well yet again I killed the boss and had red lock and guess what it didnt count for quest. This is becoming a joke! I even got the achievement this time. And now the quest is gone. And all of the other parasite quests are gone. Looks like swindling here!!!!

What does it take to get a Mod to look at this post and do something about it? This is getting to be ridiculous!

 

It wouldnt count to quest if u didnt get first lock or u wasnt in group that someone of them had first lock(red lock) , thats how it works now - also with demaner quests.

 

Did you not read the first post I did in fact have the red lock. And the guy I was outfited with said it counted for his quest. As a matter of fact the last 1 me and him killed alone using the chainsaw tactic. Pls take the time and read the post before you comment on it. Your input is well appreciated just pls know what is going on next time. ty

Maybe u werent "red" in group. I meant, u wasnt shooting gygerim or u werent under attack. Hmm, seems quite strange since he got it and u didnt. Once i was in group doing gygerim and died when it had like 3% hp left, then i respawned and got only reward for it but it also didnt count for quest. While for him did.

 

Can I pls get a response on this matter from a admin. I see you was online and closed some threads but didnt answer to many questions!

10 days and still no response from a mod. Are you all on vacation?

 

@Parasite, this is one of the reasons I quit. Support Team thinks they're intimidating and the admins are their cheer squad. Bungie support is so much better, they might need to take notes. I fell back to Halo and Destiny, just occasionally check forums. Sorry admins, your wasting ban hammers on me, this nail already fell out of the wall

Man this is a total lack of respect!!! You ask us to respect you and you show us respect by letting our threads set unanswered. Not to mention the Mod over the tech area was on and updated the Headquarters area. It has been 2 weeks and still no answer from a mod or even a look from am mod. I really starting to loose all hope in you guys! Maybe you can just save time and have Kris-Kelvin look at my post. Maybe then will something get done.

I'm sorry this post got missed somehow. The kills all count toward the achievement whether you are in an outfit or not. However, for it to count toward the quest, you have to have the first lock and hold it. When in an outfit, it may show as you having a red cross-hair but another in the group may have the lock.

I hope this explains things and once again I offer the team's apologies for letting this post slip by.

Thank you for the apology, But your missing the hole point and are wrong if anyone in the outfit had the lock the hole outfit got credit in quest for the kill. And as i posted I did in fact have the red lock for all of the kills and never did it count for the quest making it impossible for me to finish the quest set. Not to mention others on East1 had the same issue here is another thread with same issues that thread was closed because event was over not even offering the OP any insite. Im sure since this post went unanswered long past the event and being the event is over nothing will be done about it. Meaning im going to loose out on the rewards from that quest and the rewards i would have got from the rest. At this point im just about to quit playing after 6years. Just sick of the constant bugs and lack of support. Not to mention lies. Not even a year ago Kelvin promised there would not be anymore releases with known bugs. And this my friend had known bugs from the start. It should have never been let out of the testing phase. Like i said this is becoming a rotten chunk of wood filled with termites. And you know what happens to wood filled with termites im sure.

 

I don't even bother with the boss kill event quests because even if you do lock and hold the boss, there is the bug of the lock jumping on its own. Has happened to me on Demaners, their minions and the boss for the plague event. There are so many unresolved bugs right now and I am losing interest in playing this game in part because of it.

With all due respect, you have misunderstood what I said. The event NPCs do not behave in same way as others. Whilst you may get credit for the kill (uri, ep, honour) in an outfit, you have to hold the primary lock on the NPC to have it credited for the quest. Because it shows RED does not mean you have the lock. I understand that this makes it difficult and the feedback has been sent to support.

This is supposed to be a difficult quest and the rewards reflect this.

But what you explained I already knew. But what your not understanding is I did in fact have the red lock multi times as did others who had this issue. This event was plagued with bugs from the start. And I think someone needs to do something about it. I was wanting to know what yo have heard from the techs about it and what is being done to right the wrong.

 

Parasite, regardless, the event ended and it's likely it won't roll around again until it's been tweaked. As for the quest, maybe you'll be lucky to have support go ahead and finish it and call it a glitch, but it's highly unlikely. I'd say just cancel the quest and move on with this new event. Yeah, it's an error on their side, but they're only human. We have families and stuff like that and can't be tied down to such tiny problems. Just saying.
