[TI] Logging in/Backpage

  1. Hello, would like to mention that this was said by a member of the DO Team:



    That was said on Monday... it's Saturday and it seems to be the same issue again on the weekend, so why is it that this is still a major issue??? You expect us to pay for services that are not handled in a timely matter. We spend our hard earned money for your services and we are out money. Can speak for the majority of us who put money into this game for our boosters, some who recently purchased the 50% honor booster... would like to know how you all will be handling those that have spent money for this booster?

    As soon as you read this, it is happening for both sides... have tried on East 3, Global America 1, and Global Europe.... all having the same issue with not being able to stay logged into the back page. The times on the back page all read 00:00 ... and can not log into the client for flight map.

    Thanks and Hopefully you will fix this soon.

  2. I log into USA East 2 3 times a day and have not had any issues with it.
     
  3. it's still not working. hangar works now but auction does not
     
  4. And yes, it does work for some of the players, but not "ALL" . Which is not good for those that can not get in the game cause of a on going issues.
     
  5. Those having issues have you deleted cookies and cleared caches, including Flashplayer?

    usa east server.... took over hour get in this morning. now doing it again.... can not sign in.... useless to do anything with it... almost get to back page. or if do... nothing happens... needs reset connections...

    Yes have tried that several times. As this is a DarkOrbit issue, there isn't anything that us players can do to solve the issues. And i log back into the back page and look, they want us to spend money on the game again for the 50% honor booster... How about some compensation for the 50% honor booster that we have not been able to use due to the malfunction of the game itself????

    And also how will this issue be fixed before the Carnival Event that hasn't been posted yet? Even though Okapi is known to have advanced information, will go ahead and ask this question. Will these issues be fixed before this event?

  10. Sorry I am not having any problem with USA East 2. Everyday 3 times a day to make transfer from SkyLab to ship. I also log into USA West 2 times a day to do the same thing.

    If you are not having issues, you can stop replying to this thread and actually be one of those players who are enjoying the game, while the others are unable to enjoy the game.
     
  12. The event is listed in the CALENDAR above. And Okapi only posts what he sees on the test servers that he has access to and has no idea when the items are actually going to go live unless it is in information on the test server. But it starts the 15th and runs to the 28th.
     
  13. Seems to be the DO two step...it was down earlier then back up now back down again...yet non of the great and wonderful mods who care so much about service and doing a great job are to be found.

    Ok, this back and forth isn't helping those that are asking serious questions about what is going to be done to fix the current issues, and if there will be issues during the event. Will ask you nicely to give a member of the DO Team to respond to this thread. I would really like to hear what is being done with this.

    I will have to agree, this has been an on-going issue over the past week, yet nothing is working still. Am really trying to find out what is going to be done with the boosters that are being wasted by us paying customers. And yes on Sunday there will be another 50% honor booster I would like to purchase, but if this issue is not fixed then why should we put money into a game for service when we are not happy?

    This needs to be sorted, as well as compensation needs to be met, this is not the way a business should be ran... Issues come up, and should be fixed within a timely manner, yet we (customers) are waiting for Dark Orbit to provide the service they have promised over the past several "years" that haven't happened yet. Real life issues happen on weekends, no excuses should be made that it is the weekend, and someone will fix it on Monday... Businesses are open on weekends as well, and when there is a issue, it is resolved in a timely manner... just saying :mad:
     
  15. This is why it would help to have a paid mod staff that works around the clock. Not knocking the volunteer staff we have as they did just that, volunteer to moderate. Unfortunately under these, um, conditions we cannot know there is someone there when we need them most. It took me 3 times to log into the game just so I could do a transfer myself. The mods checklist, while nice for a single user, does not apply when numbers of players are having the same issue.

    Hello,

    I'm sorry that we are not here 24/7 try as we might. We don't pretend that we are, and I'd appreciate you not taking that out on my team.

    That said, there are multiple threads on this and so I will close this. I will continue to update the announcement and ongoing thread regarding this as this goes on.
