[TI] Login bonus not working

For the last two days, I have gotten only the bonus for logging in the first time (the rockets). As far as I can tell, I have been logging in every day though. Could someone please look into this?

If the period between your logging in was more than 24 hours then that might explain this... e.g. 08:00 day one and then 10:00 day two is not within 24 hours and so you start again...

 

On 4/18 the uswest server gained 7 hours. It looks like, on this day, failure to log in for 17 hours, resulted in loss of the accumulated login bonus. It looks like my login bonus has yet to advanced since, that fatal day

This happens if you aren't having a new individual log in within every day. You can "play" ever day and never actually log in every day.

If you are logged into the game before 00:00 LST, and play past midnight, but never actually come back to log in or play again for the rest of the day then you will not receive a log in bonus because you never actually logged in that day.

You have from 00:00 to 23:59 each calendar day for the login bonus.

Going beyond that to shoot through your logs would be more support than forum, though you can generally track your login bonuses from your logbook yourself if you're unsure about your actual logins.

I have never had this issue. It is the 24 hour clock that you have to login by.

Example, I am playing at 1130 pm and this is my log in I play for 1 hour log out and know I will miss the next day (for whatever reason) so I relog to get my daily bonus at 1230 am. It is 1130 pm 2 days later and I login again (for the 3rd day bonus) and maintain my reward level.

So you have to login at least once in every 24 hour clock DAY, NOT 24 hour period. Most people assume they have played over a 2 day period (late night early morning) and this allowed them to have both days covered and it requires a logout and relog to get the credit for the day.

 

Thanks, but that is not it, I have logged in every 24 hours. At least on my timescale. But I just noticed that the time difference between my local time and the server time changed. Usually, the server is one hour ahead of my time. But now it is about 3 hours ahead. Buxthawody mentions that the USwest server gained 7 hours. And Tiara 100 seem to have had the same problem judging from their answers under this post.

Also, I seem to have dropped from lieutenant to basic space pilot in the cause of one day, while my ranking has not moved more than 4 or 5 places.

To me this suggests that there is something untoward with the login system.

If the login system alone was messed up then we would see it across more than just a handful of people. It's possible that the clocks being wrong for the American servers right now have caused some people to miss the mark, but the heart of the login issue isn't that it suddenly stopped working. Every one of my accounts today upheld the bonus, and that we don't have many more complaints suggest I'm not alone in this.

As for ranking, it's possible something may have changed in those ranked above you, even between companies this wouldn't really affect lower-ranking pilots other than the rank needed to move up within company ranks (vs server ranking number).

Depending on how close to the server reset you are looking at the ranking it has been stated the ranks can be messed up for about an hour or so after the reset happens.
