[TI] Losing connection while in gates

Can anyone inform me as to why this game cannot tell the difference between being killed by aliens in a gate and losing connection in a gate. It is very frustrating when I cannot finish a gate because of lost connections. I am also bewildered as to why I lose connection on a much higher frequency in gates as opposed to other maps. I have been robbed of gate rewards too many times and am not liking it.

 

You can make a request to have a lost gate reset if it is done within 48 hours of loss and have not had one reset in the last 30 days.

The loss of communication is a major issue and I see it while dealing with the back page while in the client (maps), I find I can not even deal with the SkyLab transfer without being disconnected let alone, deal with anything in Shop or Hangar. I have even lost connection trying to deploy my PET just after signing into the client. There seems to be a mess up with the communication timer on the server making it think we are AFK longer than we actually are (or when we are not). But with all of the additions of late it seems to be more blatant that we need to be moving all the time not sitting anywhere, this includes dealing with chat.

 

This weekend i lost connection in Kronos gate but as soon as I figured out I lost connection I then X out of the page and restart and with any luck you are not dead when you relog and you can finish the gate, DO is probably just having some issues with this and hopefully will be fixed soon. I lose connection when I am at the end of the next to last wave of my gates. Support told me that I can ask for a reset every 90 days. Better than nothing, but I would like to regain my ammo and time spent working on gate. Support told me that most players use only credit ammo.
Definition: Snail shot - you shoot at the snail until he gets scared and runs off to hide, then you go hunt'em down.
I fall asleep doing that, it's like terminal sleep apnea. I gotto kill the NPC's not play with my escargo!

 

As we can understand your frustration with the lag situation. please know that many players experience lag issues and game screen issues when the Server has special events going on when things are newly added to the game. Due to the added graphics and the large quantity of players wanting to experience the new additions.

Below is a variety of reasons as to why you could be. experiencing these issues.

1. Web Browser is not up to date
2. Flash and java not up to date - or missing plug ins
3. Cache needs to be empty
4. Browser history may need to be cleared.
5. Distance from server
6. Computer graphic overload. (Graphics card slow or not enough Ram).
7. Internet type - Wifi, DSL, cable broadband or phone connection.
8. Programs Running in the Background
9. Clear Flash player data: Can be done at the following link

10. Try a different Browser to see if issue continues.
11. Possible server problem.

These are all things that could be causing the issue, these are just suggestions as to what the issue might be to help you resolve the current problem.

Besides booty box, where can i get jump credits for advanced jump cpu? I need to jump to upper maps, have no jump credits and no uri and no booty keys. Will i have to wait until i can spend money on these keys?
Myself and other members of my clan are also experiencing problems in the ToT and regular gates-being tossed out-lost connection in the middle of doing a gate and then returning after dying from lost connection to find out that you are either kicked out of the gate or lost all progress while doing the gate pre-toss out except for ToT where what you killed stays killed but you lost a life because yu lost connection not because of a lack of playing skills. Can anybody help?

In the future when asking a question that is off topic... please make a new thread.

The best way to get the items you are talking about is collecting boxes and spinning the galaxy gate materializer.
Also, in regular gates if you are shooting the NPC's to the corners and they are not completely killed prior to losing connection - when returning to that particular stage in the gate it will appear as if you have not shot them at all. The only NPC's that do not return are the ones that are actually killed in the wave.

I would also say that if you are having this issue quite often you might want to consider trying a different web browser. I use Ice dragon and it is striped down version of Mozilla. It doesn't have all the extras running in the back ground.
