[TI] Main account got suspended with email that does NOT exist

    Hello,

    I have a big issue, my account got suspended (timed ban i guess?) almost 3 weeks ago but I do not know my email anymore as i lost that one 5 years ago. It was a ISP email from 2005 and I lost that email somewhere around in 2012. how am i able to recover my account and details with support if they keep asking me for my email? I still have a lot of payments receipts for my account and im just basicly stuck with a 1k+ worth account that I cant play... My account is still findable in the game rankings so it is NOT a permanent ban!

    what to do???

  2. Unless you can get back that email account, there is nothing you can do. You need that email for it to prove your identity as the original owner of the account. And support cannot manually change the email associated with the account, it is out of their power.

    I do understand the private concerns regarding the email issue, but why cant support accept any payment receipts i made for that account?
     
  4. They have no access to any of the account security procedures. It was your responsibility to change the email address before you lost the access to the address. I lost several accounts when YAHOO terminated my email address when it got hijacked and someone using an address duplicating program started sending spam with my address as the sending address.
     
  5. If it is not permanent, wait for the ban to be lifted and then see if you can change the email address at that time. As stated, your email address is your responsibility to change. It common for players to not pay attention to it until time passes and they have sudden problems. However, it is still on them to handle that responsibility as BigPoint can not control the "personal" decisions we make in our life.

    Hello,

    You do not necessarily need to have access to the email, but you do need to be able to tell support what that email is if they are asking you to tell them what the registered email address is.

    Additionally, it is possible to seek assistance changing an email on an account through support when you no longer have access to do so yourself (for example, if an email was deleted/lost over time). However, again they would still need you to tell them what the currently registered email address is, and then they would be able to advise you further on what other information they need from you.

    Not all bans automatically expire, many require you to contact support to have them lifted. So if they're asking you for the registered email address, you just need to be able to tell them what it is - then they can resolve or advise you further if there is more they need you to do for the suspension to be resolved.

    That is the whole point. So you can just basicaly tell me I lost a fully equipped account because I do NOT know my e-mail anymore because it is kind of dead history? The account is not a permanent ban because my name is still in the ranking lists but why does it keep charging money from my creditcard if I can't play anyways?
    There must be something that could be done. This account is just too old to remember what e-mail I had on it! It is the first time I ever needed support for my account and now I can't use any support because I do NOT know my e-mail anymore... There has to be something else where we can talk about in order to verify that I am the owner of the account? :s

  8. If they are still charging the credit card then you can file a dispute with them over all charges that have been made since you have been unable to access the account.

    Only support can help recover the account, and no matter the situation or process (stolen account, verify ownership, change email, etc) they would still need you to tell them what email is registered to the account.

    If you have any possible idea at all what the mail may be, the best advice I can offer on that is to try and see if that is it. If you have anything at all from that time (backed up mails, notes, documents) that might have the information or even suggest what it was, it may help to look through those things as well.

  10. hi i cant remember my password for my account i tried to reset it but when i check my mail i don't see any mail from dark orbit nor bigpoint and i have a golith with 5 different max out drones and other stuff that took me a while to get

    Email and Password issues are something that need to go through support.
