[TI] Missing a Goliath Design

Ever since you updated the way the Hanger functions I have noticed that I am now missing my Jade Design for my Goliath, however I now for some reason have two old Spearhead designs which I deleted ages ago. What's the story with this? Like I don't mind having the Spearheads again, but where's my Jade design?

Is the Jade the only SKIN you had? If you click the Goliath ship it will have a drop down menu in top corner as @Solid_Eye >posted< you can see the location the Skins are ship specific and only seen when that ship is selected now.

Click the blue posted in #2 and it shows the drop down for the Sentinel but it is with the Goliath also.

Have you clicked the Goliath Ship? If you have then you have the word GOLIATH with a yellow down arrow in front of it. Click the arrow and the menu drops showing all of the skins that you have for the GOLIATH. I do not own the Razor or the Iron but I do have the Amber, Crimson, Jade, and Sapphire designs along with GOLIATH listed in this drop down section.

Okay that explains it you have lost the Base ship as you had a design assigned when the Update went live. You can win one in Auction for 10K or wait for the Dev Team to fix the issue that has been reported. Once you Own the base ship then you will be able to see the skin designs that were not made into ships.

Again if you looked at the Post I directed you to you would see that @Solid_Eye also lost base ships and it has been reported and if we are patient it might be corrected early next week.

And you now have the drop down menu right?

 

No. I have nearly all of the Goliath skins. The Jade is the only one missing. Oh, and what drop down menu? If you mean the one that showed all the skins you have that is no longer there. I now have little squares with images of the ships in them and according to that I don't even own a Goliath but I own the skins, if that makes sense.

The Drop down tab is non-existent! I have also noticed that I am missing my Razor and Iron skins! Honestly, I liked the way the hanger was set up before! Seems that every time they try to make things better they make it worse!

 

I have tried that and still nothing. It even says Buy for the Goliath, whish is strange since I already own one!

 

Okay. Ticks me off though that I have to win another ship. What about players who have bought ships?

 

Okay, I just won a Vengeance and Goliath in auction.

 

I also got back Goliath and Vengeance from the Auction, but my lost Aegis and Spearhead are somewhat different story.
And I couldn't agree more than every change is to the worse. In terms of functionality and damage done to the players.

 

Players? The game is like a ghost town lately! Every time I go on I'm like the only player! Oh, unless you count pets as players and they just go around collecting stuff! Nah! This is absolutely crazy! Having to reconfigure your ship whenever you want to change skins! Nuts! It was much better when you would just stop playing go to your hanger, choose another skin and then start playing again. They should have a least made it so the ships keep the same configuration! DO you're going to lose a lot of players and unfortunately many of those players pay to play!

It is a problem that is acknowledged in >Official Announcement< and can see a list of other issues in >Tech Announcement<. Hope this helps.

 

You will probably have to do like I did and either buy or win in the auction a new Goliath. Then check the pull down menu that shows your ships skins and they should be there. That's what I did and all my missing skins were there. Weird way to have to do things, but hey, what's not weird in this game lately?

 

What about Aegis, Citadel and Spearhead ships? They were expensive in the Auction normally, obtainable once per day. Since their deletion, the Auction prices skyrocketed.
Should we re-buy them again for uridium?

 

NO be patient it is a glitch that is being worked on. Read recent messages in both O A and T A sections of HQ forums. As I directed in earlier post.

 

I am concerned because getting new Goliath made everything work like a charm. All skins appeared in a menu and the ship was recognized as 'existing'. On top of that, if the old Goliath is only not currently recognized (instead of deleted), why was I allowed to buy another one having two of them - the other being 'hidden'... And where are the ships hidden so well that they can't be found by the system but newly acquired ships are immediately recognized?
I have no doubt that if I purchase Aegis and Spearhead, they will work just as well.

 

The situation comes into play where if doing this you may be BUYING the compensation package they are going to give you when they fix the problem.

 

It may be DO's way of getting us to spend more money on things that we have already spent money on but don't seem to have.
