[TI] no game connection

Hi All

jumped on to find "establishing connection please wait"... 20mins later i decide to update adobe flash player still no connection for west US

cant say ive had this issue befor

would t be surprised theres lots of ppl on cause of helix hr so more bang for ur buck

 

should still be able to connect... after an hour of trying lol

 

if i were u i would shut down pc wait a bit maybe 15 minutes then try again. make sure no other applications r running and u get that 60 fps every time

 

Clean your old temp files ! I use ccleaner also chix has a thread for this issue that might help

Well it looks like that section has been removed but clean you java temp files also
to do this go to start =control panel = Select java= settings = delete files.

 

unfortunately since 3D was introduced 10-20ffs is all i can get... prior to 3D i had 40-50ffs i use D2 cos i cant stand the wobbly ships lol

ill do a virus / defrag for the sake of it

 

i use ccleaner religiously every 5-10mins

 

Then go back to 2d less bugs and better performance. And to put it blunt. This is a problem on your side or it would be across the board. And being only a hand full of ppl are having this issue means its not server wide.

 

cleared out cashe and the pc has speed up a crap load.... all web pages/videos loading a lot faster but alas still no connection

bd33, I'm sorry you are still having the issue. This may be related to your ISP and the path it takes to get to the DO servers. You may be able to get in touch with their Support and see if they can determine any issues that may be causing your trouble. Also , you may want to make sure that your Firewall is not causing any issues, and you may want to try removing any AdBlockers or 3rd party plugins in your browser to see if they are causing an issue.

unfortunelty the problems still excites i have
reinstalled opera
deleted google chrome (been an ongoing issues slowing the pc down)
done ccleaner many times
re started the internet router
ran spybot nothing came up
ran malware bits nothing came up
ran micro soft essensals nothing came up
cleared cashe

pc speed up emmenclly
youtube rans awesome
net pages openign fast

last resort is fire wall...... this have never been an issue i the 1 1/2 years of playing..
im a little lost on the fire wall side

running opera with windows 8.1

ok i have looked at the fire wall settings and there doesn't appear to be a pigpoint/darkorbit connection ive sent s ticket to support so ill wait patently lol

i have turned off the fire wall public/private and still have no connection lol the brain teaser

 

im running windows 8.1 which after 1 hour of searching for a java control panel i can say there isnt one im keen to clear this java cache but even following adobe's guild lines lol there isnt a java control panel to be found "lost a lot of hair looking"

 

Select large icons in control panel.

As many players enjoy different servers from all over the world. Have you considered that the issue could be distance from the actual server.

I would also ask what type of internet connection are your using. Cable / WiFi / DSL or a phone provider connection?

kinda got success

i forgot i still had explorer so i tried load DO and it worked yet through opera it sticks on "establishing connection"
after deleting opera and adobe, reinstalling it still wont work..

im trying chrome which is working good so far, so glad to be back in game there may be a "block" on opera i just have no idea how to fix i spent a good hour going over it...

Well it has to be there or you dont have it installed. So the easy why to find it is type
"Java Control Panel" in search. If it dont show then you need to run the java uninstall tool and reboot and re-istall java from scratch. Most of the time it is there just hidde but in widows 8.1 it is very hard to find for the average joe. Wish you the best of luck with this. Also have you tried different links to the game to see if that works or not. There is a handfull of links that get you there I use the direct darkorbit.com and dont have this issue but a few years back I was also pleged with the same issue And i had changed links from the us link to the direct and worked!

the issues was recent windows up dates with chrome auto installed and deleted the java
ive since deleted a lots of recent updates and got the lastest updates that seem to fix the issue

the issue is with adobe flash player and google chrome...
resent windows updates makes the flash player crash lots of ppl having the issue

with windows 10 it also crashed in the first 2 days but seems to worked its self out

i found a post on "chrome" issues with adobe flash player but it seems to ironed its self out

the horrendous lagg with the new 3D still there, i can play path of exile "with" far superior graphics amazingly fine

still playing DO not the end of the world lol
