[TI] Posting Errors

Okay so we have seen the threads with 2 posts exactly the same. We have been annoyed because the same person posted exactly the same thing twice.

I keep getting an error box when i make a post and if I do not double check that the post did post I would be guilty of the same issue. I get one of 2 errors frequently. I am posting the TEXT of the message below (do not know how to post a picture of error) and the other message says I can not post at this time (will add it when I get it again).

Double posting error;

The following error occurred:
504 Gateway Time-out
nginx/1.4.4

 

This is the reason for the double post that happen. There is a time out, but not everyone gets the message and clicks post reply again, and the post goes a second time. I have started refreshing the page anytime it happens to me. I have deleted some of my double post, which is really frustrating.

 

when you get the gateway timeout it generally posts it but you just have to refresh.

I guess not if 3 responses to an error is all that Team D O want to allow and is how they want to deal with problems that are brought up, explains why these problems happen and don't get resolved.

This multi posting error has been reorted and it is not that it doesnt matter, but we do have many issues that have priorities. This is an issue that reported to be repaired.
