  1. Can you recover accounts? when i last tried about 4 years ago big point said they didn't do it anymore has that changed?

  2. I was able to recover an account since then BUT it was a major amount of work to do so. It is also strictly up to the Support Person you are dealing with as to whether they will go through the process or not.

Items you need to provide and have access to are the email on file, login name, ship name, server(s) played, approximate last date of activity, and if you spent money on the game it is more interesting to them to try to recover it for you.

IF the email account is no longer active I can guarantee you are out of luck to even attempt to recover it.

  3. Just reading this tells me there is no point in trying. I had to recover and convert my account and was lucky to have all the information necessary. I don't think most people would keep a record of purchases, but I have issues with a delete button so my information is intact. DO does recover accounts, but if it has been years , I am sure the chances of success is slim. Hopefully you have all the information they request, but if you do, I suggest you exercise patience as its hard to get people motivated to do something if you try to rush them. Just saying. It took me a while to make a detailed chart of my purchases. The good thing is I now have it for future use if needed.

    Hello,

You have to contact support and provide them with information they can use to actually find your account: userid, server and the last ingame username. Some people have all these things, some have 1/3, 2/3, main thing is the information you provide has to helpthem find your account.

If they can find your account they can go through trying to restore it (if possible, some accounts are banned). Sometimes this process may require more information, sometimes it may just be a matter of making the account to be considered active again.

This isn't because someone simply decided whether or not to bother. Sometimes an account can be brought back, sometimes it can't, and sometimes an account simply just cannot be found to do anything at all.

So in short: yes it is possible to find old accounts and possibly bring them back.

Is there anything further from the OP?

    Regards,
