[TI] ship stops firing

hi guys i know this has been talked about already and i thought DO had it fixed but no, when i try and combo my ship stops firing. I don't know how they fixed it but i am getting told from many players that it's happening to them also. And how frustrating it is, so just wondering if it's just me or are there more like me having this problem still?

 

I have the same issue, I'm not sure if it's meant to be like that but has certainly changed in the last 6 months

 

yeah same problem here its the setting (Stop and start attack using shortcut bar) seems when you use the combo when starting with first shot or rsb then changing back to x4 if your rsb is still on cooldown instead of it changing back to x4 it just stops the attack

 

Yes surely if it's on cooldown then X4 should fire, as it's the RSB that's cooling, perfect description, Stringshot.

 

So how it works is, if the rsb is still cooling down and you press the key for it, it will just stop your attack all together?

 

so i guess where trying to change before cool down is finished then maybe? so then how do we know when the best time to change is when there is no guide?

Well all i know is before they had problems with this it was working just fine and now they were suppose to have fixed it i'm finding it worse than ever. It's making for not an enjoyable game.

 

I know that this seems frustrating, however there is a cool-down for the Rsb, which is about 2-3 seconds. If you have this on a hotkey, you should see a little visual time that will show you how long before the ammo can be re-used.
