[TI] SLL-02 vs LF3 on drones against NPCs..

I was asked if it made a difference if this new Laser was better on the drones or LF3s because there appeared to be a noticeable drop in damage when the SLL-02s was on the drones as opposed to the ship with LF-3 to complement... against an NPC the SLL-02 should hit approx the same as an LF-3 but I saw in a damage test of 12 lasers that the output of the new laser on the drone was well below expected whereas on the ship alone they hit ~ the same
    Can we have confirmation or other ppl to comment if they have found this and if so a bug report sent...
    I did not see the hangar, as it was not my ship. so I am working blind and trusting that the configs were as I was told but I have no reason to distrust the person involved...

  3. Thank you hushing for your comparison chart.. I appreciate the time this sort of thing takes and I, and the community, really like this sort of thing...

    but I have to point out that the question I asked was if the SLL2, when loaded on the drones, reach their advertised max compared to LF3s as they should be similar and in practice dont seen to work correctly ..

  4. I tested SLL-2 damage on drone, ships, and on pet and here are the results:

    This means that SLL-02 (or all SLL maybe) deals 90 dmg only to NPC when equipped to PET or in Drones. SLL-02 equipped on ships are working fine. this should be fix along with all the lags and bugs.

    as I said above your time in compiling the above data is very much appreciated and I hope that the information will be used to alert those responsible for correcting this problem...
    It was the SLL-02 in this case as this is the 300,000credit one that was, we assume, aimed at helping new players and with this problem in fact it helps very little as only those loaded on the ship reach their potential...

    Sll-02 weapon is very useful for new players, older players are not affected because they already have lf3/lf4. I send an email to support and response was that they know about the problem and they are investigating. I think new players(and free players) are not so important.
