[TI] sound issues

Is anyone else having a problem with the right channel cutting out ? Right side cuts out and it only happens when I play this game , so I know the problem is not on my end.

 

Try the following it might help.

1. Log out of your game page and log back in, if you still have issues go to step 2.
2. log out of DO and clear your browser cache and cookies, if issue persists try step 3.
3. Check to see if your sound driver is up to date, if issue persists try step 4.
4. Check your speaker connections for defects, if issue persists try step 5.
5. If you are use a third party sound card check for defects ( Disable third party sound card in device manager and enable on board sound to test for any difference in sound) If issue persists try step 6.
6. Check to see if your OS as had a recent update and it is not bugged.

 

OK I have done a lot of what you just said . I even went as far as doing a complete reset on my PC . Complete wipe from windows 10 back to windows 8. W 10 does not support Beats audio. Yet even in W 8 with beats audio active , right channel still cuts out . If this were to happen any other time I would not have posted a thread. You tube vids , dvd's and other programs which have sound do not have this same problem. I will however do a history purge of cache and cookies to see if that helps.

 

Hope the purge helps, as a norm the steps I posted sort sound issues. Win 10 as had many problems with sound problems I have been testing it since the first tech preview and have had to use a very old realtek driver to get 5.1 sound. As you have rolled back to win 8 it may be wise to google for any know sound problems with Beats audio and win 8, another thing you can do is to log into your game page and go to your settings and check your in game sound settings.

As of right now we have not had any other reports of this type of issue. I will keep an eye out to see if others are experiencing this type of problem.

Through a process of elimination I have determined that it is my hardware that is deficient . I found my Sony headphones and plugged them in and I seem to get a decent stereo through both channels. So , needless to say I will try to upgrade my sound system asap . Although Beats audio is still not supported I do not think the audio problem is game related. TY for your help . OK to close.

 

I am sorry to hear that you found it to be a hardware issue. Hopefully an upgrade will resolve the matter.

Nothing further on this topic . Although it is not fully resolved , it is not a problem with game ,, as far as I can tell.
Windows 10 has some sound issues and I have found a solution that will give me adequate sound in game .
