[TI] Spearhead JAMX wiping out cloak

    I don't think this is supposed to be happening, but when I use the JAMX function on my Spearhead and am cloaked, it's wiping out my cloak.

    The description reads:

    This ability emits an interference field which paralyzes enemy ships' functions. All effects which they are currently using will be compromised.

    I didn't realize that extended to cloaks at all (is it supposed to?) - I thought it was just things like Spectrum/Venom abilities etc.

    Either way, I shouldn't be losing my own cloak!

    Yes it does that ..It not glitch ...I works by design

    The JAMX technically isn't doing it, it is just the act of using certain abilities can take off your cloak. Not really sure why JAMX would do that, but I guess it is part of the design.

    Ah. I see. :cool: Don't see why it should do that either. Should just disrupt enemy ships' effects. I don't use it that often, and was playing around with it the other day - lost a couple of cloaks. Just one of those "quirks" I guess; don't expect it's on their radar to correct. Thanks for the answer.
