[TI] Start button...

  1. correction...they need to worry about saving what customers they have in stead of ticking them off like they are now...

    Problems occur we all get that but the total lack of communication is lack of respect for their customers.

    In two weeks, if we are lucky, some mod will respond to this thread, with:
    a: Are you still having this issue?
    b. Closed as of lack of response.
    c. contact support

    Game is glitched here on Global America also. All the same symptoms as mentioned above.

    Support is very aware of the current situation I would assume...as this is July 4th weekend; possibly a 3 day weekend for the support team (they are human after all) it could take time to fix.

    I'd like to point out a few things:

    - Double boosters do NOT run out anymore unless you are on the game client, repeat; the timer on your booster will only count down if your ship is logged in.

    - If you are not able to access your hangar I have noted that Opening your hangar in a new tab sometimes fixes this (otherwise try a separate browser).

    - as for the start button issue; if you are able to get the separate window open for loading the game client right click and make sure Hardware Acceleration is turned ON, if it is not the game client will NOT load.
    (Right Click on game client, Settings, far left icon and, enable Hardware acceleration).

    PS the 50% booster I bought are on real time not game time

    Than making a correction in your previous statements about Double boosters might help clarify...50% honor boosters are not classified as doubles...

  11. I'm sure support is not aware as it's 4:37 am in their offices right now, which is why I made this thread. Also, it's Friday morning, which is not the weekend, those start after work. Lastly, they're in Germany, so 4th of July is just another day.
    And yes, it'll take time to fix. They have to finish sleeping, get out of bed, eat and get to the office. That's why I made the thread, so they'll know when they get to the office that there is an issue that needs addressed.
    Lastly, read my OP. I said there that I click start and nothing happens. Nothing meaning NOTHING. No pop up, no separate window, no nothing. So I can't check my hardware, as there is nothing to right click on. But I know it is on because the problem I am reporting is not on my end but on BP's.
    So in closing, next time you feel the need to give useless advise be sure you know what's going on before typing. I get really grumpy when people spew stuff not knowing what's going on.

    I get the black screen of death aswell but also, for the past oohh idk 8 or so months they still havn't addressed the AT&T Uverse connectivity issues.... Darkorbit want to revive a dying game? Try bringing life to some of those that try to breath

    Hi all,

    Just to clarify, the previous responses in this thread were not from DO representatives.

    But, as mentioned, the bulk of this thread occurred while we were asleep. Also, no, it's not a 3 day weekend for us. I'm heading into work now.

    I'll talk to the team as they get in and we'll provide updates throughout the day on the black screen and chat issues that are affecting some folks.

    I'll also see what we can do to compensate for any lost time on boosters and premium. But, until I talk to the team, I can't guarantee anything specific.

    Updates on these topics will not likely be a further part of this thread, so keep an eye out for general announcements.

  15. If you've already used it in any form, there will be no refund for in-game products. This includes drone formations, payments, ships, lasers, "accidental" ammo purchases, pretty much anything. If you bought it, and didn't like it, tough luck essentially. As for the time on the boosters, there most likely will be extra time added or we may get more compensation in place of both the server blacking out and for those who can't defend their bases that we just popped.

  17. I figured it out guys. On your backpage, click one of the tabs (Hangar, Skylab, something) until you can get the black screen of death. Once you get the BSOD, refresh. I just got into the game on a hopeful effort. Hopefully this helps you, click like if it does.
