[TI] test server establishing connection

i can log into the front page of the test server but when i try to get on the front page it keeps establishing connection and doesn't go onto the game screen. is anyone else having this issue?

Yep. I'd love to test this new 3d version but I can't connect to the game screen. I can get in on my regular server though.

 

thought so. DO has [removed] up again.

 

I also cannot get to the map... but I have plenty to do on the backpage... and foul-mouthing wont make it happen quicker!!

3-D is fun and when fully tested we will enjoy it but.. there will always be those who....

As you are more than likely aware, we are experiencing some unseen issues with the connections on the server. Support have asked us whether you could provide us with some trace route information;

"Click on the Windows Icon, enter “CMD” in the search field and type tracert darkorbit-679-game-01-pub-01 and press enter.

Repeat this for the three addresses
darkorbit-679-game-01-pub-01
darkorbit-679-game-02-pub-01
darkorbit-679-game-03-pub-01"

Please post the results you get so that we can send the information back to support.

Quick Update: Support believe they have managed to locate the issue so are hoping to have the test server accessible shortly.

darkorbit-679-game-03-pub-01.darkorbit.bigpoint.com

They all resolve to the same address 178.132.240.100 with the route of 8 hops.

 

The real question is why has there been an issue that past three times?

We don't know the exact details in to why there has been issues, however we didn't expect any issues on this occasion since nothing had changed from before. I do believe that the test server however is slightly different to the main servers, as it is only open to all users on rare occasions.

However as the issues were resolved shortly after we reported the issue to support, i shall close the thread.
