    Every time I transfer material from the skylab to my ship it always puts 10 seprom on my shield booster and I don't know how or why this is happening. Its been going on a while and its really not a huge deal but I just don't know why its doing it, it never did it before

    Check your ship's equipment. Do you have the "NC-AGB CPU" equipped? It automatically boosts your generators (shields and speed gens.) with the best ore on your ship.
