[TI] UBA bug?

Every time I join uba my seprom on my lasers wont work and I lose at least 200k shields on both my fighting side and speed side. I have logged out switched browsers and I still get this bug. In the regular maps the seprom works fine but in uba its like I have nothing on my lasers.

I think this is a bug that needs to be looked into , I havent tried it myself yet but I had another player join a uba game and he told me that the seprom on his shields and lasers seemed to have no effect and he plays on GB1 so I think this could be not just a single case but a server wide issue

 

I think the issue you are talking about was recently updated on the FAQ.

What is there to know about Matchmaking?
Not much, really. Like with the unranked Training Arena matches, the system looks for opponents with roughly the same strength to put them into the arena to fight each other. Note: Nano Hull and Ore Updates are not available in the UBA and are not counted against the gear score.

It's def a let down. Doesn't make sense, but i guess that's the only way DO can manage to keep UFEs from cheating and glitching it for noob fights.

 

also less damage means you have to use more rsb and therefore give DO more money

 

And spam out more gates for x4, basically you waste a ton of stuff, get crap in return.

 

i quit doing UBA anyways since i won 9 / 10 matches and was getting 1 point every match while others were getting 50 - 100 points every match. what am i supposed to do 3000 matches while someone else does 50

 

Yeah right? I didn't make jack in season 1 cause i got 1-10 points.

 

To the OP: Basically Sep or Prom on shields & lasers don't count anymore. Neither does Nanohull. Definitely weird when going into battle with unknown enemy in UBA - just do like the rest of us and don't even compete

 

I see people using ring formation hitting like they were using no formation, ***?

 

I am sorry that you do not like the recent update to the UBA. I do not have any further information as to why this was implemented or if this will change in the future.
