[TI] UBA no 2nd place prize

    You received 15,000 Uridium.

    I got this just now as the UBA season finished. However, on top of me there were 5 players joint 1st place and me I was rank 6. Shouldn't I be rank 2? Where's the logic here? You have a games event and no one gets the prize for 2nd or 3rd? I would like to receive the prizes for rank 2.

    What was the point of me even trying to get 2nd place if these people are just going to make joint 1st and give players like me nothing? By this logic you could have 50 people joint 1st and no one can get into the top 50. Why do all of the people joint 1st get the prize for 1st place and the people below get the price for the rank directly below the stack?!?!?

    The actual rewards for UBA are assigned as you are thinking, however, the "Special" were probably assigned in list order so the top 5 are all upset as they all feel they all should have gotten the first place rewards instead of the 1-5 rewards. This is the only explanation I can come up with for you.

    The UBA is formatted in such a way that there only a limited amount of place slots, in the event of multiple players gaining the same amount of points in this case (5 players gaining the same amount of points for the first place slot) then the ranks from 2 to 5 would become nullified to create a multiple first place and the rank after that would be as in your case would be rank 6 as ranks 2 to 5 would no longer exist. Your sixth place is correct with the format used for the UBA event ranking and the prize for your rank is also correct. I do feel your pain in this matter but there is a bright side in the fact that you managed to get a good prize those further down the ranking who thought they might have just made it into the prize list will have handed up empty handed.
