[TI] Why cant i bind keys to my mouse?

Hi, I have this gaming mouse with 3 extra buttons on it that i would love if i could use them in darkorbit. The problem is, i cant! The buttons work normally in the browser, but when it comes to the game.. nothing!

Please help me

 

have u tryed changing ya setting in the keyboard menu

 

well yeah.. when i go to the options to bind the keys, the game wont recognise them.. but they work in the browser

 

If the mouse you are using is a macro style it could be part of why you cannot attach certain keys to that particular mouse. We here in forums would not be able to assist you on this issue as macros are not permissible with in the game.

I have a gaming type mouse, has a couple of extra buttons. You have to program the mouse first. Read your manual as to how to do this first. Once you have programmed the mouse your mouse button should work on the client/game.

To verify the setting I use a note pad and use the button there first to verify the mouse does what you have programmed.

I have 3 buttons, 1st.. I set to "J" to simple jump ports. 2nd.. I set "0" this activates my EMP. 3rd.. set "C" change configuration.​

Some mouse have a 3 mode multiple stage button, located just behind the wheel. be sure to program in that mode and to use in same mode.

Ok problem solved ) i got 2 of the buttons to work (the other one doesn't respond at all so i dont think it is even working)
