[TI] why even have this?

  1. you may not understand unless you read my other thread you must under stand i been playing this game on and off for 8 years and i have had my old account just disappear and i had to start this new one now more issues with this stuff

    why even have a forum or support if there is no help being giving i posted a thread about a issue i was having and gave a lot of detail about my problem to only be told in a reply to sent it to support, in my thread i said i did before posting the thread and they closed the ticket with out resolve and now you close my thread with out resolve

    you all have no help or those who have issues and pay you money it is a wonder you still have people who keep feeding you money like me guess the addiction of the game it just over to much to do the right thing and quit

    in any case i guess BP just rob's people and they got me i guess i will just have to deal so i will just drop the matter just please fix my chat and allow me to use the payment area as normal and i will just keep my mouth shut

    please remove all my my threads on these issues i just needed to vent so sorry if i sound rude
     
  2. There is NO ONE on these forums that can help you on issues like that. You HAVE TO deal with support, as they are the only ones who have access towards you account.

    Still waiting for almost a whole year now for them to put all my gear back on my old main account, they said because I was away from the game for so many years they put my account in storage? I logged in only to find everything on my ship pp included all gone! Still waiting! (Paying Customer)

  4. Sounds like to me you got caught botting for your gear not to be returned in so long.
     
  5. they read this stuff they say they try to pay attention but they do not care at all to do any thing

    as for there support it is a joke no good service to those who pay the bills

    i put in ticket's and they just close them with out checking on them or asking me for info from me then they dont want you to put in another one or they get mad well i said all this before so forget it

    like i said it is all falling on deaf ears even though they say they care they really dont

    so as i said i got got and that is it and please mod's just remove all threads on this issue i dont want to make things worse

    Before we attack the support team about something that they did or did not do to assist you. I can not even look for the account to see if I could even locate an account with out the following information:

    Ship name
    User ID
    Server:

    Also if you have a ticket number that might be helpful as well, so that I can inquire with support.
    I cant guarantee that I will be able to locate or retrieve any thing. However I will make the attempt.

    Please remember the Terms of condition do state:

    8.3 Grounds for terminations
    The User has not used their Account for a period of four weeks despite having received a reminder.

    Please post the information I need to investigate the matter and we will see what I can do.

    woah there. hold the phone. is that true? i had an old FE account that disappeared when i hadn't logged in for a year or two. I have never once botted or hacked anything. I cared, but hadn't played all that long. but now i've put a lot more effort into going for UFE. i'd totally ragequit forever if my account was deleted from not logging in for a single month. if that's really enforced at all here, please tell me so i can quit now.

  9. Is there a way to inform support to not delete your account if, say, you're going somewhere without internet access for over the time period?

    Support is the only one that can help you in this type of problem. Accounts that are deactivated, or hacked must be handled by support... I can say from experience, write them and explain what is going on in your case, they can help you retrieve your account. I have lost this account twice, support has replaced it twice, deactivated and reactivated ... 1. have your information in hand such as your game ID on the top left of back page is where u find the ID to your account. 2. they will ask you for personal information. 3. Receipt if any if you buy uri and so on. 4. The names that you have used on that account that only you will know. 4 password that you have used. and may ask for some type of ID. They are no Fools they know whats up they have all the info on every account. They will ask you for in dept information... So, If you made the account then it is worth going after... If you bought the account, or was given to you from someone else you can just say that account is as good as gone can be. If it was deactivated they can reactivated. Accounts just don't disappear if they do, there is a reason cause and effect

  11. That would be great for our service members that play, and for when people go on vacation. That should allow for real estimates of return dates. Deployments can be hard to guess but if you just up and quit, or mommy takes away your privileges for 6 months, don't come back mad at DO for miss-placing your gear.o_O

    In this instance, I say Mommy but use it to mean anyone with authority over you when it comes to playing, or rather not playing the game because of something you have or have not done. :rolleyes:

    I don't think they do that. I have peanut account from 2008 and I logged into it yesterday so it is still there. I have not log on this account for years... But I keep track of my information on Hard Drives. You have to have the facts for support they don't buy stories facts only. For example you buy an account or someone gives you an account somewhere, then you lose it you write to support they are going to ask you questions about the account and you have to have the right information for them to give it back to you if you don't you don't get it back. Same if you are hacked they will take the account from the hacker and return it to the real owner if you have the right information they will ask him and you questions... Only one of you will have the right information lol

  13. Yeah, I don't think they do either, and agree with you DJ. It would be nice, and could make it easier on support in those cases.

    yes, this I know for a fact, I have been hacked in the past and support put account under investigation till the real owner is found. Once account goes under investigation by support it is not active for anyone to use, till the investigation is complete and support finds the right owner of the account. Then the account is returned to the rightful owner.

    Same I got into a argument in chat bad argument my account was deactivated I wrote to support and told them what when down was ban for 2 weeks and was reactivated

    why cant we vent about support and where else could we just you all make it so hard to resolve any sort of problem with the way you have things set up

    back in the day when i started my old account in 2006-2007 i was able to talk to some one that was very nice, in Germany, on the phone if i had a issue and poof it was resolved within a day

    now you try to call and all #'s that are posted any where are out of service and most e mails no one responds to so you have no choice but to put in a ticket

    now when you do put in a ticket you must wait for them to respond then (if you are lucky) E-mail back and forth for days,week's and some times month's that is if they just don't close your ticket at some point and if or when they do respond no matter how much evidence you give they never admit who done who wrong or want to try to resolve

    i know all this first hand i have gone threw this with my accounts i have been building and each one has a different e mail i use so and any time i have a issue one one account of another (here and Seafight) i go threw this with them and i know many, many, many, who have the same issues with support

    also if you just don't take what they say or do they mess with your account or at least that is what i think that is what they are doing now to my account since there is so many thing's messed up with it now

    i am loosing interest in this game, after dealing with the support you have think i should get a real life,(instead of building my ship's! both the one here and on Seafight!) stop playing and put my money to better use now many other people would complain or vent in this way, they are worried that there account will vanish or be messed with

    if i do just go away for one reason or another i would suggest to you all to try to have fun play fare and free is what i suggest (don't pay a dime till things get better like the old days)

    1. Telephone Support would be a Big Plus for Dark Orbit.
    2. Dark Orbit should think about Re-adding Telephone support for their games instead of adding more lag to the game lol.


    A majority of professional online games have 24 hour Phone support.
    With Dark Orbit Not having Telephone support; how would I say, Makes the game look suspicious from where we stand.

    There has been many post about this issue Dark Orbit Not having any Type of Phone support.

    I don't think they have the staff to cover a telephone support crew, would be nice if they did.

    For any Empire, public relations is mandatory!


    The Roman Empire was very, very much like this game. They lost their moral core, their sense of values in terms of who they were. And after all of those things converged together, they just went right down the tubes very quickly. That is what is happening to this game, the public has lost trust and many clients have quit this game, or were banned for some reason or the other. Would be nice for Dark Orbit to step up to the plate and regain public trust again.

    It is said that a Lie can travel around the world in No time While the Truth is putting on it's shoes lol.

    I am sorry that you are having continued issues with support. However, dealing with them on this particular matter is the only way to get the issue referenced in the ticket resolved. I did speak with a support member who looked at the matter for me and recommended you continue to work with the support team to get the issue resolved.

    As I mentioned previously, I would make an attempt to locate your old account if you could provide some needed information
    Ship Name
    User ID
    Server.




    What we recommend to players who are going to be away from the game for any extended period of time, such as serving in the military, family issue etc... Is to contact support and request the account be suspended pending your return. You would need to provide Ship name, User ID, Server, Registered email address and your reasoning for requesting this. Please note that if you were to decide to have this done, we also recommend that you keep the support ticket and be prepared to provide proof of ownership when you return. I think that's how it works, but to make sure you will need to verify this with support.
