[TI] X4 not working after RSB

Hi

Can't see a thread for this, if I go from X4 to RSB, when I hit X4 again it doesn't work ?

 

Try turning off the option to start shooting when ammo is selected. Had same problem ages ago and this fixed it.

 

In settings or gameplay ? Can't see which one that is ?

 

In Gameplay it's the options called: "Start and stop attacks using the shortcut bar"

 

its not just him its everyone, a lot of times when you switch from x4 to rsb or other way around youre ship will just stop shooting when you switch or try to combo. its very annoying

 

yeap .I've said this about a week ago and the still haven't done anything about it

i tried that and i cant start an an attack using 1 or 2 keys i have to click ctrl then click 1 and 2 whitch i hate lol

(1 x4 - 2 rsb)

 

I am on gb1 and I'm also having this ammo problem, i use x4, then rsb, then x4 to make a combo and realise that my attack on the other player as stopped, yet they still have target mark on them, it wastes valuable time and is costing fights, every second counts when attacking another player. This issue needs fixing asap, thank you

Unfortunately there has been no breakthrough yet on a fix however we do know that work is being done to try and get a fix for the issue. It was hoped that a fix would come during the week that just passed, however a fix was not found in time before the various syncs throughout the week.

i still have the problem when alternating between x4 rsb then x4 and i still lose attack. This problem is now about 2 months old

I have been having this issue for months now and still is happening. Although it works sometimes but is very annoying when in a battle with multiple players cause you don't see your ship stop shooting so your taking damage while sitting there thinking your dealing damage but your not. Thanks for looking into it.

 

the only workaround to fix this for now means you have to use ctrl to start an attack instead of your quickslots and you have to go into setting to change it i would like it to be fixed too

 

i think its the cooldown on the rsb ammo that is causing the problem. the 2 second cooldown happens when rsb is pressed, so when trying to combo back to x4 then rsb, the attack stops. they need to remove cooldown for rsb and im getting fed up with it. its costing me lives in the game. i lose attack alot because of this ammo problem occuring when trying to combo x4 rsb x4. the only way i have found to reduce the problem is by pressing x4, rsb then waiting before i press x4 again. but thats not good because the attack takes slightly longer to carry out effectively instead of being instant.

 

You're pressing the button to switch ammo too many times, doesn't matter what ammo you're switching to, click it too many times too quickly and you stop shooting, you don't lose lock at all, just switching too quickly that's all it is, not really a technical problem, just impatient sausage fingers
