[TI] You are banning legitimate players!!

So i logged on this morning to find both my lvl 21 account and lvl 19 account perm banned.... for botting...

While i know nothing can be done about this via the forums (I have emailed support) i just want to point out that you are banning honest players who have never botted and i think you need to take a good hard look at how you are detecting botters because i can promise you that you are also banning legitimate players.

I havent played this game in a while, come back. played for 2 weeks and now im banned. Thousands and thousands of hours and $$ down the drain.

The only thing i can possibly think of is that the botting detection system thought i was botting when i was actually using puffin browser on my iphone to talk in chat and pick up boxes, flying around letting the pet pick up boxes while i was talking on chat at work. This browser uses a gamepad which i think your bot detection systems are mistaking for a bot.

i was looking forward to becoming competitive in Dark orbit again but i think this will be the nail in the coffin.

Hopefully this can be resolved but also a warning to others. Do NOT play dark orbit through Puffin browser on your iphone. You will end up the same way i did.

I hope support understands that you were not using an illegal form of boxing and return your accounts.
Though i know nothing about the puffin system.

one of my nakama as well banned for this accuse. I know he is not botting as he is not so frequent online and we always play together. I pretty sure, but he was ban permanent. This very unfair as he was playing since 2008. I just dont know what kind of screw up software they use while cheater ( etc auto locker, bot 'still free flying till now' ) free dancing on space with strong ship.. I wish they not fully depend on their software but to go through the log of player.. where u can find the right answer.

 

I only use puffin browser to assign my skill points, but anyway that's very sad to know

 

i have also been banned probably for using my pet in pally bigpoint please help ive sent a email probaly gonna be ignored because i cant spread i got a login error-99 please help, into 140 characters clearly you need admins to detect bots not a programme that cant tell when im using chrome instead of a botting app. my email is [removed] please send me any tips that will help thanks.

 

Sometimes genuine players are picked up as bot users by mistake. Contact support and you'll be unbanned this has happened in the past and everyone had their accounts returned.

 

Thank you all for your input on this matter, as we are aware that there is a script in place and it does detect bot use within the game.
With that said, if you have contacted support on this matter...you should remain in contact with them. As we here in forums can not make any judgements/comments on an issue that should be handled by support.
