Trading and Moving Equipment between Server Accounts

There should be a possible update for trading between players and also pre haps moving account between different servers with their equipment but maybe at a cost of in Game credits or in Game Uridium,

Allowing Trading between players would be a good way to help new players and old players advance further in the game and help make the game more enjoyable for both the players and the community,

Of course if trading was to ever come into effect then trading between players should come at an effect of maybe 5-10 k creds each trade,

Players who may not be on the same servers as their friends should have the option to move to their another server possibly with their equipment such as ships, weapons and misc, in return that if they ever return to that server they should start with rookie missions again and follow the same procedure of starting on a new server,

However is moving items between servers does also come into effect at some point then it should come at a cost of maybe some of that players Honour points or creds deducted in cost of moving their equipment between servers,

 

Do you ever read forums ? the ideas you talk about have bin talk about for the past 5 years moving accounts can't be done and trading between players will get abused easy. End of!!!

 

well if you were smart then you would know it can be done, moving accounts between servers is easy, all dark orbit needs to do is mabye set up a service where you can move the account into and another folder for that server,

also trading can is a very useful tool in dark orbit and the only people who would be abusing it would be those who may think that new players are getting access to stuff that be earned by progressing deeper into the game,

 

There used to be a "Trade" in the game. Now it is called Auction.

 

i mean something on top of auction Called trade where clan members and friends can trade gear

 

Dude, this can be done.
BUT, the reason BP said No to this idea is because it can be abused. So anything involving trade between players = Scrapped

 

And a (supposedly) good example of this is the clan tax. Even though it can't be called a "Trade", it works in a similar way and people were abusing this.

 

don't insult me ( another folder :s really read forums TA (Training arena ) was set up just 4 the reason the servers are dead and they cant, move account will make more problems then it will solve

 

Before you go on the offensive, lemme remind you that this is a idea and update pool. You are entering an idea and hoping that others agree with you, like your idea etc. But you will also get people who will not agree with you and therefore tell you why they dont agree with you. String shot was merely pointing out the obvious in which DO has a already placed an answer as to why it would not be done. Please, before you post an idea, please check forums to see if it was already placed, that way you can find a new way to revise the original idea. And please, dont insult players who are taking the time out to answer your posts. If you feel that you cannot handle the constructive criticism then do not post.
Now on to your idea. This has been posted a few times and it will not happen for a myriad of reasons. 1st and foremost, there will be no money to made off of a trade for DO unless you include some sort of trading fee for each item traded. Secondly, explain exactly how trading help older players? There is the truth, just like with clan credits, a player stays with you for a while and once they got what they want, they will leave and then what? There goes the drama, player becomes KOS so much that they dont play anymore
And to your other idea, we would all for the most part wish to be able to bring accts to other servers, but sadly this is not possible due to the large amount of data that has to be transferred per server per acct. Thank you for posting an Idea, and keep it up but abide by the rules my friend.
