[UI] A mine just for npcs

    As the title says; maybe like a DD-MO1 or an ACM-1, but with half the power or even less.

    Why, it will give new players a bit of a boost and most importantly they will learn how to use mines, of which after only played for 1200 hrs.; I seemed to have fallen in love them and even thinking about putting them in my Bio.

    If I only knew how to use them properly.

    If this has been hashed out already then please disregard and close the thread.
     
  2. You can train in PvP if you would like to learn using mines.PvP is totally different from PvE where the NPC follows you,so kind of dumb training on PvE.
    As boosting the newbies it would bring an imbalance to the game.Every noob will just drop 10 mines on a Cube and do it so just buy an Aegis and farm if this what you need.

    Good point that I didn't consider about the different styles of an npc and and PVP, but maybe even then lower the damage more. Maybe 1% or less. Or maybe it's just a bad idea.
     
  4. For me it is a bad ideea.Lets think about the time wasted on planting mines and draging npcs to it (if it would be 1%).You would already do half of the NPC if we are talking about big maps.
     
  5. 1% would make the idea irrelevant but if you made it 5% or 10% as originally planned imagine how quickly previously hard to kill npcs would now die? Hitac? Demeaner? Cubes? And what about kucurbium?
     
  6. There are players that drop mines in all the events and then they forget where planted them (hahaha) :p Forget about a one shot kill...more a like one rocket kill :cool:
