[UI] Albanian Server?

Neither I, nor my other spelling, works for Dark Orbit. This was simply the best suggestion I could come up with.

But like I said, put the reason why so they are thinking about it. "Need Albanian Server."

 

we need one Albanian server because we want to play in a server with our language and timezone
and it is going to be the first Albanian server so it will be full with players
and we dont want to play in other servers only if you create the albanian server

 

Put the reason in your request to be a mod.

ok we know global server are in the same time zone with albania but we want a server for us named [Al1] albania and in our language!!!

 

yes please try to open it before the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP and we need our own server and this is the perfect time to open it

 

i stopped playing DO a long time ago so if they open the ALBANIAN SERVER i would start to play darkorbit again

 

I would love to see Latvian server also.. In our server are about 15 active latvian players, and i know about 100 of players from my country on other servers(got good conections). Or do could make baltics server( Latvia Estonia Lithuania). Or at least they could add chat in latvian language in global servers.

 

or you guys could all just join a global europe server, you don't need your own server, lol

Currently the team is talking about server merges and solutions to the server population issues & concerns raised across the community. This isn't limited to just one language complaining^^

I would not expect an entirely new server to be opened in the immediate future, this only splinters immediate server populations further.
On the flip side global servers have a selection of supported languages, whether or not that would be an option in the future I cannot attest to.

I am sure there are many things that would need to be considered before opening a new language server, or just supporting a new language chat/forum. Whether it happens in the future I can only offer to wait and see.

As for applying to be a mod, please keep in mind that the application information provided within this forum (English) is for the English language moderating team. Other language teams may have different processes and information for how to apply to their respective teams I would recommend checking the relevant forum. If they were opening a new language server or chat/forum, I am sure then a search for moderators for that language would be on the table. However, I'm not presently aware of plans to open a new language server, or if there are any current talks up above about what languages might be supported in the future.

the idea to open a Albanian server for Albanians is good and it would bring back to the game some Albanians who has left the game and we would play and have fun in our own server.

 

They idea would really be that when they put in an application, you send it to the devs. If the application is held up or rejected because it is not for the English Team, the entire idea is being undermined.

We also realize the devs are trying to deal with server population issues. What is being proposed is a way to get all of one country or language in a server. A new language server for that matter. If there is an Albanian mod team, or a team that speaks that language with an app process, can you link us into it so time is not wasted in an app that may not move? Thanks

The English team can't handle applications for other languages. Some languages handle things differently, and may have different wants or needs for moderators. That isn't something we can dictate for another language. If another supported language was in the works then we would be in a position to try to help getting the applicant to where they needed to go.
