[UI] An F-17-DM buff

For a drone configuration that costs 150,000 Uridium, this formation is remarkably lackluster. For it to even exceed diamond's regeneration, a ship needs at least 770,000 shields before putting on dome to make it worthwhile. This puts the ship at a million; shields will regenerate more than 5,000. However, it's pretty hard to get 770,000 shields.

(15*10,000*1.25*1.4)+(16*10,000*1.2*1.25*1.4)=598,500 shield strength. With a 25% booster, you get 748,125. Still not enough to make it worthwhile; it would require either upgrades or another drone.

(20*10,000*1.25*1.4)+(16*10,000*1.2*1.25*1.4)=686,000 shield. 25% booster puts it at 857,500.


Diamond sacrifices 30% hitpoints for endurance in fights. Dome kills speed and damage by 50% for endurance that isn't as good. The threshold required for it to be as good as diamond is one and a half times diamond's (500,000). The effective threshold should be moved down from 770,000. One way is to change Dome's shield boost from 30% to 60%, moving the worthwhile shield threshold to 625,000 exactly. Alternatively, change the 0.5% regeneration to 0.62%, still putting the threshold at around 625,000.


TL;DR Dome sucks make it require less baseline shields to be as/more effective than diamond.

 

I agree. What about reducing the damage reduction to 10% and/or increasing shield absorption by 40%.

 

I think the health decrease is to much 20% even 15% is better bc shields don't matter anymore for pvp moth will shreed you so by making your hp lower you die a lot faster its a shame.

 

Dome isn't affected by any health reductions unless you're talking about diamond. I think diamond is fine as is. You can counter the health loss with aegis, shield mechanics, battle bot, energy leach or if you neeed to you can change out of it or even into crab

I got an idea, don't be dumb enough to buy dome, lol it's worthless, and makes even an UFE lose easy.
