  1. so heres my idea, I used to play a game as a kid called,, AROUND THE CLOCK,, basically it would be an event to see who could kill the most npcs in a certain timeframe.

    so here it is
    the event starts a selected time say 7.00pm, and the goal is to do exacltly what it is, go around the clock, althought technically speaking you wont be going from one to twelve.
    so the idea of around the clock was with a football you would do keepie ups, start at 1 then the next person would have to do one, the 2 and 3 then 4 and so on, so basically you would carry on until you you droped the ball then the next person would have to beat it.
    if you got a lower score you would be automatically be knocked out of the game, it was basically a competion to see who would do the most without dropping the ball. but if you were in the lead it wouldn't matter because you would obviously never loose

    so in one hour you would randomly select an npc to be destroyed, NO GATE NPCS, a league table would be set up and then withing that hour players would have to go on a crazy npc hunting spree to see how many you can kill.

    but it wouldn't be as simple as you think you have to do it in enemy maps.

    rewards will vary from places 1-10 being mainly rewarded,
    and any1 else who was involved just get a token of appreciation

    * 1- 10 rewards, 5,000 uridium, 500, x4, 5 booty keys
    * token of appreciation reward, 500 uridium, 500, mcb-50

    Now that is good idea and so simple I don't know why it as not be suggested before.

  3. Good idea to increase the imbalance of the game even further. UFE would walk away with the prizes as they kill a ton faster than a newb FE- ship. It would be like the G G Times that are posted in the "Hall of Fame" those players that are UFE and using X-4 and RSB kill everything faster than the player having to use X-1 as he can not afford anything else. You would have to separate the thing into ship types and might even have to make it an arena area where you went into it with an empty ship and equip it with items that are pre-loaded in a hangar (you can not buy anything to add to this ship). The contest would run for 24 hours, but your time would start as soon as you jumped into the arena, and you would have a preset number of NPC's to kill and this time is what is recorded, you could attempt to better your time by going back into the arena but it would erase the previous time so you would be risking the better score if you messed up.

    Also the rewards would need to be higher to get people interested in it, plus would want to have 1-10 individual rewards 10-15 another reward 15-25 another 25-50 and finally 50-100 then the appreciation for competing. On the busier (more Populated) servers may even have it a company thing so everything is awarded to the people of each company as they scored in their company instead of the server. As an incentive to get more people involved the company who had the most entrants (based on percentage of company) play would receive a bonus reward for the entire company.

    Based on Percentage is to balance the companies so the company who has the most players is not automatically the winner because they had more players than another has maximum in their company, an example would be EIC had 1000 of 2000, MMO had 1500 of 4500, and VRU had 750 of 1000 players involved so EIC had 50%, MMO had 33%, and VRU had 75% so VRU would win the Bonus Reward.

    This is not addressed in your original posting so I brought it up.
    I never mentioned anything about the NPC's I was referring to the TIMER you are using and gave an example of the timers already in use in the game now.
    The arena allows players to be able to have a level playing field other wise the MCC's will rule this type of an event.
    I was referring to an event that ran 24 hours with only one entry per day and a person could run it as many times as they wanted just the last time they posted would be the only one that would count.
    So a person who can be online 18 hours gets more rewards than those who can only play 2-3 hours (I see an exploit here)
    My suggestion brings Company loyalty back to the game and makes it about the companies on more populated servers.
    Stronger, is this actual strength or numbers? IF numbers I addressed that in the paragraph you chose not to disect. IF strength then they are not going to have as many do the stuff as they do not "GRIND NPC's" and prefer to hunt.

    My suggestions made it so EVERYONE would (and could) want to participate to win some rewards, from the newest NEW player to the OLDEST Veteran (if they were not HUNTING fools).
