[UI] Auction start delay

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but there really needs to be a short delay between one auction finishing and the next one starting. Only about a minute or so would do the job. Basically it's so that when you bid in the last seconds and the website is too slow to process your bid in time that bid doesn't then end up being the starting bid on the next auction.

Too many times now I have seen my bids in the last few seconds being registered on the next auction instead of being rejected as too late for the current auction as you would expect to happen. As a result the starting bids on some items end up being artificially inflated thus raising the cost of those items above where they really should be.

 

Basically, it is all down to timing. My old laptop took ages to get that last second bid in. I had to bid like 30 seconds before it ended. Now I can bid in the last 8 seconds for my bid to be submitted. You need to work out how long it takes for your PC or laptop to make that last second bid, and then bid around that time, hopefully you will not miss any more bids.

 

What's worse is when you go to make that last second bid and it throws a captcha at you - for the second time in as many minutes.
