[UI] Auto-Lock CPU

How about this for an idea? To lessen the impact of the ppl who are STILL using Merkava auto lock programs, and similar ones, give us a CPU that we can buy for, say $17.99, that lasts for 8 weeks, like the rebate, and such? This will take away the unfair advantage that these people have.

 

Better still, ban those players forever like they are supposed to do...

hell no, no autolock PERIOD. WTH has happened to you guys? Do you really need that unfair advantage? I pity anyone who buys into this. I dont care if you are spending 18.99 or not. Autolock should never be permitted. People need to just learn how to lock better and stop looking for easy ways of getting the advantage. HELL NO

 

And give unfair advantage to other players. I have played this game for years and I have to say that I am free player, in 6 years I have only got premium 4-5 times for a month. Setting a price for autolock won't change the situation, free players will suffer even more than now compared to the WWs. The difference between those groups is already too big and you suggestion will totally destroy us.

yeh, this idea is probably one of the worst yet in this forum. I have come up with some crappy ones, but this takes the cake lol.

 

To be honest I can totally understand where he is coming from. BP either refuse to or are incapable of removing autolock from the game so the only way to even up the playing field again is to introduce it for all players. The only thing I disagree with is that it should cost.

Having said that I don't believe this should even be an option as it removes a lot from the game. No more would a speed advantage be such in a close fight. Best option is remove the cheats from the game!!

or if you think it is autolock copy account link of guy who is ''using'' and check it after a month if it is still there then he didn't use it.
BP actually ban every one who use bots at least packet bots because they can detect them easy. pixel and stuff like that is hard to detect, but at least they don't cause any trouble in pvp aspect, they are only good for picking boxes.

and yea this is stupid idea. you obviously don't see what skilled man can do with pixel bot. you want to give them legal autolock to?
x-2, x-3 and x-4 maps would be full of cheaters again after long time.

Boogey I am sorry to inform you but the auto lock program still exists buddy. Although there is a slight glitch in which if u are attacking someone, and they jump or you jump, if you come back in that map quickly, the lock doesnt remove. Its happened a few times to me and I was wondering why i still had lock.

 

i didn't say programs do not exists, merkava still works i think. i only say that no one who have a little bit of brain in his had is not going to use them. if you don't trust me then go make new account and use any of those programs that still works and you will see how long that acc will last. bugs and glitches are not the same as programs. you know that obviously.
i have seen lots of accounts get bans for using old programs, sistem is working great i can tell you that from what i have see in the past, and thats why i have not see auto locks on my server for long time now, years mate.
only idiots think they can get away with programs.
if anyone use autolock on me in the future that won't bother me at all, because i know he will get banned in short time after that.

You can't extinguish fire with fire, (will only make it worse), I think your idea sounds ridiculous, with auto lock this will be a pure 100% pay-to-win game instead of a 99% lol. I think the best way to terminate auto locks is to have some admins fly in normal ships as if they were players and then jus fly around. But even then it could still be lagg etc.

 

Sadly, there is an idiot born every day, and alot of players will always try to find a way to get things easily. The system is good, but its not that good. I was fighthing a player 2 weeks ago that was losing hp during a 1 v 1 in 4-4 by the mmo port and all of the sudden every laser and rocket said miss miss miss miss miss, for about 6 seconds, then he started losing hp again and finally popped. DO can not deny that players are still using programs. But truth is DO is trying. But trying to make auto lock a viable and purchasable item in the shop menu is wrong. This should never ever happen

Everyone will go broke
The balance system will be non-existent
BigPoint will just get greedier
Even more people will stop playing
The servers will have space-tumbleweeds flying around
At some point in time BigPoint will come up with events for this kind of stuff and reward lf-5's, causing entire planets to collide and have every pilot fight for themselves as there will be no system anymore, where the store will be looted of it's stuff and the auction center will become part of some cult's drug warehouse, the JP battle will be rigged as it will steal credit card info, space stations will be graffitied, shut down, and sent into the sun, eventually leading off to a warp in space and time where black holes will slowly consume the game, starting with 4-5 and ending with BigPoint HQ.

 

Skill?? There's hardly any skill involved here, anymore. I have flown with some of the best on my server, and I know for a fact, they use an auto-lock program, and they KNOW they won't get caught, because of the type of program it is. People are still getting banned, and then able to buy their acct back, also. We all know it to be true. Merkava has been around for YEARS and they still dont catch anyone using it,lol. Like I said, give us a fighting chance. The price, or even if it should cost anything, is up for debate, I was just giving an example....

They are all using illegal auto-lock right now, so yeah. I know that some clans have links posted in their clan TS, that will send you to Box Bot sites that are UP and RUNNING now. Face it, BigPoint will never catch them, and when they do, the person just bribes someone and gets the acct back anyway.....

 

Really? You trying to tell me that DO should implement a "cheat" and players to pay for it?

How about a NO? I want them banned, not buying "legal cheat" for locking.

Ban anybody thinking this is a good idea, as they them selves may be looking for a cheaper alternative.
