[UI] Big balance change

    Hi,

    Many games undergo many changes, however most of them have monthly balance changes to ensure everything is in order, this game never has any real balance changes in terms of items, and it shows due to the massive rift between the f2p and the p2p.

    Just a quick note, you may not agree with these changes, if you dont, just be constructive about it :D

    1) NPC rewards need to be increased by at least 50%, the cost of the game has gone up by about 1000% (Not even exaggerating, probably an understatement) since 2009, npc rewards are still the same.

    2) More uri for your money, the payments have been the same for as long as i remember, 330k should = 400k 150k = 200k 75k = 100k etc, bigpoint you need to understand that if you throw a little more bang for your buck in there, people may feel more inclined to splash the cash.

    3) Buffs to the Venom/Diminisher. I know this may seem strange, because damage is already high, but paying 250k for a design what can be countered by a 500u emp doesnt seem right, i think the game should keep the counter, but just reduce the counters effectiveness. Example: The Venom will still be counterable by EMP, however it will take 10 seconds for the ability to wear off after emp.

    Buff to the diminisher: Having an ability counterable by EMP what then smacks you with a nasty debuff after isnt fair, so same again, ability is active for 7 seconds after EMP, and if the effect is countered by an EMP the debuff will not activate. If an emp is used to counter the diminisher but it still ends normally, the debuff will still be applied.

    4) New people to the game should be credited with 2 weeks rebate, a bonus box doubler and 1 months premium membership, they should also get a staying player bonus, if the player remains active within the first 8 weeks of signing up to the game, and fits the activity criteria, they get a special pack credited to there account each week.

    *The user must have at least 10 hours of activity each week
    **They must complete a quest
    ***They must send at least 50 chat messages each week
    ****Must not be banned from chat at any point

    First log-on:Initial newbie quest still stays, player activity scheme is mentioned (So noobs know it exists and have something to aim for) Leonov+ x2 damage to aliens for 1 week + Invulnerability to all players until the player hits level 11 (This is temporarily broken if the user attacks somebody else) 3 Iris, 5 lf-3s, 6 best speed gens, 5 bo2s all granted on login.

    Week 1 activity bonus: 3 Bo2 Shields, 20 repair credits, 30 log disks, 1,000,000 credits, 10,000 uridium.

    Week 2 activity bonus: 3 Bo2 Shields, 10 booty keys, 60 log disks, 2,000,000 credits, 12,500 uridium

    Week 3 activity bonus: 1 Iris drone (If applicable), 3 lf-3s, 50 log disks, 1,000,000 credits, 15,000 uridium

    Week 4 activity bonus: 5 parts to the apis drone, 5 lf-3s, 100 log disks, 17,500 uridium

    Week 5 activity bonus: 30 Booty keys, 5 lf-3s, 50 log disks, 20,000 uridium

    Week 6 activity bonus: 30% off any drone formation in the shop coupon (Uses:1) Can be applied with premium and rebate. 20,000 uridium

    Week 7 activity bonus: 100 Log disks, 10 booty keys, 1 Hades gate. 10,000 Uridium

    Week 8 activity bonus: 1 Havoc drone design, 1 Hercules drone design, 1 Lf4 laser cannon. 80% off next 330k uridium purchase (MHH Available, only usable once)

    Explanation: Whilst this may seem VERY excessive benefits, i think it is justifies, there is NO new players joining up recently, and who can blame them? the starting point on this game is simply too far behind and there is no protection, with this 8 week benefit i feel it could get them slowly hooked on the game with nice injections into there in game account, get them striving for the next level, getting them up to a good standard quicker meaning they can hold there own rather than doing tedious quests in x-3 maps whilst getting killed by uber f.es all the time.

    Whilst week 8 may seem excessive also, having this benefit gives them a taste of all the uber items in the game, something to aim at, and giving them the coupon of 330k uridium may get them spending money and hooked on the game, which means more money for bp, and more money for them to invest in the game and hopefully expand its lifespan.

    With this loyalty pack, newbies will join, slowly build up every week, keep getting those nice weekly bonuses, keep getting used to having nice things via spending premium currency, advance quicker into the game. then when they hit week 8 and get that massive coupon and use it on mega, they get some nice upgrades and will get a taste of the elite items in the game and will maybe want to spend more money.

    I know, this seems excessive, and is probably OTT and will maybe change it a little, but the activity is absolutely draining out of this game and something needs to be done to get newbies up to a standard what doesnt just bore them.

Agreed, but only on the condition that ''JAMX'' ability still instantly counters venom.

Disagree, the ability doesn't stop after EMP, you can just regain lock and stil cause some nice extra damage.

What I really think newbies need is a good direction to the guides on the forum, they can really help them.

I disagree with it only being a ''newbies pack'' don't forget the people who have already played about a few months but are still verry weak, it takes much longer to get strong so I would like a reward for every player (stronger players won't benefit anyway).

Overall: good ideas, to bad they most likely will never be implemented

I say yes to all the idea accept the buffs to the venom and deminsher effects emps wise, the newbie pack I am ok with accept the herc and maybe 60-70% off rather then 80% this would be better seeing as how BP is still cheap. I dont care also maybe some packs for not just noobies but older oplayers who are still weak as well is in order.
