[UI] Bounty

  1. What if in the back page, there was a new tab called Bounty. In this tab, it would list all the bounties that players have placed on other players. The amount is determined by each player and what they actually have available. Each player gets a reserve bank that they can activate when they so want. In that reserve bank, they can put any amount of credits or uri. This will stay there unless the player removes it. This reserve bank serves to hold the money to pay off another player who completes the bounty. for example

    GHOST: Placed bounty on Havoc. Pay out 1 mil credits. Terms: 5 kills. Reason: Shoots same company players off cube.

    Next line would show if someone accepted it and the name as well as a time frame to have this completed.

    TINA accepted bounty request. Tina has 3 days to meet the objective in order to satisfy the pay out conditions.

    The kills will automatically be sent to you via a DO system message in your mail. It will let you know when it has been completed or if it has failed.

    If the bounty has been completed, your reserve bank will send out payment to that players acct.

    If a bounty has been accepted, you as the person who created the bounty cannot remove the funding in your reserve bank until the bounty has been completed or failed. Or the person trying to complete the bounty cancels it. This way, people will get the bounty if they complete it and the funding is saved and you dont have to worry about not being able to handle the pay out.

    Maximum pay out via credits will be 5 mil. maximum uri payments is to be determined by DO.

    As with any idea, this can be abused in several ways. But thats the nature of gaming sadly.
    Any ideas? Comments, adjustments?
     
  2. This Could Work But What About The -Honor And it could be abused by hgigher lv players setting bountys on plaers then other players killing them to get the uri so basiclly the better player is giving the lower player free uri/credits

    (if that makes sense)
     
  3. yeh it makes sense, sadly with any pvp quest, this cant really be avoided :(
     
  4. its simple to be placed in the game this is just a basic lil version of eve and everyone loved there bounty system it was simple player kills you or you just simply dont like him but cant kill him you put up what you got on his head and he will have a bounty tag placed on him much like when another company comes to x-1 map hes tagged first come first serve kill it gets fun when ya place a high bounty on a buddy and you hold court with him till they get him there is no max there was no min just pay and watch them get rushed by bounty hunters or people tryin to come up why they dont have this here who knows they got to many bugs

  7. This could work but would have to be used by opposite members of opposing companies due to being ripe for abuse in same-company issues where large clans dominate zombie servers and pop lower level players for fun
     
  8. Agreed, but i do think that it should work for similar company as well. Also, that bounty can only be placed on a player once a month. that way the player doesnt get bullied either. So if someone placed a bounty on you. After the bounty is recieved, no one else can place one on you until the 30 day period is up. And you as the player sending out the bounty can only do one at a time, and you cannot kill your own bounty.

    you hit the perfect subject i would go less then that but yes you do wanna limit our maybe along the lines of allowed more hits a month as you gain lvls playing eve online as a pirate if your not familiar
    with it before the ground expansion pirates got tags at all times I loved it to for the simple fact you cant be a wallet warrior anyway excellent point

    Well maybe this could replace the stupid clan war system, I mean wars are usually started by a single player doing/saying something stupid.
    So instead of warring just stick a big bounty on their heads
