  1. Since D O wants to create so many Event Missions that require an enormous amount of "Collection from NPC's" and seem to want to run Special Booty Chest days at the same time.

    I suggest a NEW Booty Chest. This Booty Chest would apply to ALL NPC dropped Booty Chests, it will not effect the map generated Booty Chests. These will be a NEW Color as they were dropped from a NPC like Cargo they are Orange when first dropped. The timer, which currently removes the chest from the map, when it expires removes the Orange Cargo Box and leaves the original colored Booty Chest for anyone to collect.

    Benefits from this change;

    First and foremost, the NEWBS that are trying to kill for cargo can collect the cargo from their hard earned kill.

    Second, for those looking for Booty Chests (because they bought into the Special Sale) have more Chests to choose from as the dropped Chest will no longer disappear but will wait to be collected by a key.

    Third, it will live up to the original information posted in forums when these were originally introduced, allowing the player to get Cargo and Booty depending on what they wanted.

    Fourth, it might increase Event Mission Participation when players have to collect minerals from ship kills, on Special Booty Days.

    Fifth, it will reduce frustration of killing an item for the cargo and getting to spend Uridium or Cash to collect the known rewards of the kill.

    How it will look;

    First, the NPC is killed and drops an Orange Booty Chest the Killing party (group or solo) collects the Cargo and the timer is eliminated.

    Second, the Booty Chest changes color (Green, Gold, Red, or Blue) depending on what it was originally supposed to be and remains till collected.

    Third, if the person that collected the Cargo has a B K (for the color of chest) they can wait the 5 seconds to collect this also or just fly away.

    Fourth, it allows the PET's with Auto-Looter activated to collect the Cargo from the kill, but still prevents the collection of the Booty Chest.

    Fifth, any player looking for Booty Chests will now be able to collect this Booty Chest like a map generated Chest.

    Reasons for the change;

    First, Free Play players are wasting ammunition wanting the cargo from kill to increase credit earned and they are getting a Booty Chest instead of cargo so they either become a Pay to Play player or suffer from the loss of the ammo. We all expect when we kill an NPC to collect a Cargo Box but with the Ultra Booty Days we seem to see more Booty Chests from BOSS NPC's than Cargo Boxes, so we say why try to kill them.

    Second, it gives Pay to Play players more items to collect on the days when everyone is collecting Booty Chests, so they are not complaining about not being able to find these. Ultra Booty, LF-4 and Zeus Days all seem to increase the number of Pay to Play players trying to find the Elusive LF-4 or Special Prizes and thus create a shortage of these Chests to be found. Since the timer is removed these are now available for their collection.

    Third, as NPC Spawning seems to be effected by numbers killed, now the players killing for Cargo will be attacking anything they can handle without worry about what is going to be dropped and thus increase NPC Spawn cycle creating a more enjoyable game cycle, which may improve server populations and thus create the needed protection of the NEWBS trying to learn this game.

    What are your thoughts and feelings about this?
