[UI] CHANCES OF WINNING BOXES

I spent over 100 booty keys in two separate events, the first half in the better than usual chance to get an L-4 laser: ( got 3 L-3's and not one L-4 ). The second half on the better than usual chance at the Zeus drone design: ( got 2 Apis and not 1 Zeus ). Seems to me that the so called "BETTER THAN USUAL CHANCE" really meant I would SPEND MORE THAN usual on booty keys a receive no results. P.S. Also haven't noticed any increase output in L-4 or Drone design from Galaxy Gates! JUST ANOTHER CROCK OF DOO! My idea is lets create a true BETTER THAN USUAL CHANCE and stop the lie! Im not asking for an everyday giveaway but come on.

 

you'll go thru dry spells my highest was 400+ keys no lf4 all lf4 day. then again i have got 2 in a row and the next 7 keys later.

Zeus day i got very very very lucky was in battle map boxing my bro had to collect get it cheep enough and grind uri to buy.
(look on zeus day you get discount also get rebate)<---makes huge difference. once you knock the price down within reason buy it best advice i can give ya grind the uri

 

The CHANCE needs to be removed from D O PERIOD. Many of the people who left after the introduction of UFE did not leave because they did not want to Pay2Play, it was they saw they were not the LUCKY ones to get the essential equipment to stay on top of the ranks and got fed up with the CHANCE System D O was implementing.

 

i'm a free to play player since 11 and i only have 7 lf4s and recently the two gifted enhanced lf4s. i always grind 40 to 50 keys on lf4 day when i can. dry spell ?. lol. the chance factor is way too low and a lot of people leave ( i believe ) because EVERYTHING takes so long without pouring buckets of money into it.

 

Save your keys until you have a couple hundred of them then use them on ZEUS day. They still have a chance of giving the LF-4, but you also get a better chance to get you 10th Drone. What maps you search in also seems to make a difference also. I also am very limited on the number of LF-4's found, and seem to get Apis Parts (instead of ZEUS) even though have one built. IF you have not built the APIS Drone, DO NOT until ready to build ZEUS Drone FIRST.

There are currently many reasons why people are leaving the game, but the GRIND of becoming UFE is not one of them (this has always been part of the adventure), the lack of protectors IS, however, IMHO part of it.

 

i need 4 parts for my apis drone and would have built it right away had you not said that. thanks for the heads-up! and the advice.

 

I made that mistake and now have 3 accounts trying to get the ZEUS Drone while having enough Apis Parts to build another (or within a few parts) and very few ZEUS Parts collected.

 

when zeus came out i spent keys only ever on zeus day, got apis parts twice as often as zeus but in 750-800 keys i got the zeus completed, and 4 or 5 lf4s along the way. totally worth it.

 

Chanse is more than good, when booty came out you where need around 300-500 for 1lf4, no epsilon, kappa and hades, please don't cry ...

 

I think the most fun part of the game is pvp/pve not grinding equipment but if u say so... I for one had the most fun in months using a droneless bigboy with half credit equipment to ride an enemy map, i had some epic battles with other noobs, it reminded me of the old darkorbit.

Sure, looking at how many people are full lf4 and how many in those are free players one can do nothing but agree with that statment. Also just because the chance was bad before i dont see why should every body be happy now for it being a tinny bit better but still not good.

Its never enough, whatever you give to ppl , its never enough, always will be somebody who is unhappy and wanna get more, but right now LF4 chanse to get is really balanced.

P.S. never do epsilon for LF4.

PVE with new account is more than good, only problem is get enough pilot points to get kalibrator/electro optics 25% hit chanse to don't miss when you shoot npc, credit laser for PVE its cheap credits and doing 145 dmg whats little under 27,5% weaker than LF4.
Its credit equipment so you can upgrade it for credits, if darkorbit change it and make it cheaper and avelible upgrade to 30% at lvl16 Spectral Lancer II will doing 188,5 on NPC and 117 on ships, will not affect PVP at lot, will not affect PVE for FE and UFE compared to weaker, BO1 will still be weaker than BO2 shield I think thats probably best way to make new player strong enough to get to point of UFE.

 

Im still waiting for a tutorial of how to get to ufe for free without bot in a resonable time frame. Even ones i saw doind so buying premium, rebate and doubler had some suspect jackpot euros in the back ground . If, after u got full lf4 (and ufe in general) as a free player, u say honestly that the chance is good enouth be sure i will say nothing against it. This because while in theory something apears to work it doesnt mean it will in practice .

 

resonable time frame for you is 500-1000h right, game isn't made to be UFE in that time frame you need around 2-3k if you will play full for free.

 

YES this is about right, and it is all in Pally Fields or Galaxy Gates with a little Battle Map Boxing thrown in also, to collect the Uridium needed to buy Drone Formations and PET Stuff. But then this also means you are not loosing your gates due to LAG or loss of connection to server. It is nice to see that the TEXT information (top center of screen) seems to be rolling properly, finally (only took 15 months to correct it), but then I can only play about 30 minutes at a time before I start freezing in maps so I don't play near as much as I used to.

 

It's all chance, which means that theoretically, especially with the real low chance, it is possible to use over 1000 keys and not receive anything.

Personally I would try to do it like this:

1. Go for zeta, get havoc and logfiles and bootykeys
2. Use bootykeys for LF4, logfiles for
3. When you are full havoc, switch to kappa, for hercules and a much bigger chance for lf4, again use logfiles and bootykeys you get there.
4. When full hercules go for hades.

Using this technique I obtained almost all of my LF4, I never really bothered with buying stacks of keys. The problem is that you will be full havoc very fast with the new chance of almost 50%, and because you receive 2 havoc on a double gate day. I needed 35 zeta for full havoc but I also got a ton of logfiles and booty keys, especially when double gate rewards were there. The choice is yours here, personally I feel like Zeta is not a bad gate as on a double reward day, you get 100 logfiles, 50 bootykeys, and 50K uridium (from completion + NPCs).

Anyway as I stated before, it is all luck, hopefully you'll get more LF4 the next time!

 

Just here to confirm, I used the exact same technique and without spending absolutely anything I'm nearly UFE now, so this definitely works very well

 

Losing connection to server is probably couse of your internet, I don't remember when GE5 last time just die.
Freezing screen is usually on Chrome when you switch window, this happen a lot, but all you need to do is click on this 2 times and game start to roll again.

I'm personaly not big fun for rush hercules right after 10 havoc, yes you can also get lf4 but there is several reson why.
You need 120 parts, with average part chanse of 6,5% you need 1850 EE/157k ur during weekend, you get 31.834 from it, 10 booty and 20 log disc.
Zeta cost 1700EE/145k ur during weekend, you get 48.216 uridium back, 50 booty and 100 log disc.

On new account log disc is thing you should play for, from booty you will get also some log disc, Pilot points is thing what is more important than colect all LF4, without Electro-Optics which give 25% hit chanse you miss a lot when you shoot with laser, have full lf4 and miss every 4th hit or have lf3 and hit every time is basicly the same, you need around 21 PP for it, that should be goal so you can use LF4.

P.S. have 8 iris full havoc and hercules is kind a bad, better use on start booty on zeus event when you get apis zeus all booty spend only on helix event.

 

I somewhat agree with you as well, getting all 10 drones should be a top priority for any player as it is the biggest step towards becoming UFE and pilot bio is also extremely important (imo everyone should aim to have AT LEAST 25-30 points) - I just happened to get mine before I even got full havoc since there weren't any double rewards days then;
Also getting some of the more important drone formations in the meantime(drill,moth,heart,ring,diamond) should be a priority as they speed up farming and are really useful in pvp when needed

 

I don't rate formation high when making new account, only important is moth for gates to make it easier, rest of them will come, colect scrap and some aurus, do gates when crystal is out, make red booty couse its cheapest and you can get same amound from obsidian,blue/red and apocalips only difference is ship,drone,pet design what isn't big deal, you can get almost 600 LD what is huge, also formations and some other things.

 

Since I do not use Chrome your information is useless and I am not switching windows I am killing NPC's and the game starts locking up and freezing and when it starts again the NPC I was attacking is dead and I have lost half my shields because of the gathered NPC's attacking without me moving, again after having played 30 minutes. I stopped using Chrome when they did away with the Plug-in Flash support.
