[UI] Changes in Quest Kill Counts

    Hello everyone,

    I've been facing this issue from quite long time and with most servers being less active, I think its time to change some old concepts.

    Currently, same company player kills (clan wars) doesn't count in quests. Only other company player kills count.

    Problem:
    Due to less players (inactive servers) and new updates like CBS, most clans now have inter company alliances (alliances with clans in other companies) and heaps of war.
    Most of the time, the fights are not between different companies but between different clans. Most of the time, we fight with our clan wars along with different alliances in different companies.

    Often, we have big war clans in our own Company and like 70 - 80% of the time we fight with them only.
    Most quests are already hard to do because of less players and in this the current system prevents same company players from being counted. This makes it even harder

    Most of the clan wars (for top 20 clans atleast) are almost permanent wars. Like having war with the same clan for months (in fact years!). Now even if they're in the same company, fighting them for months/years doesn't make them more of an enemy only?

    My idea:

    Same company players from war clans should also be counted in the quest.

    To prevent any problem (pushing or unfair domination of stronger clans). Here are some conditions:

    Kills of same company war clan player will only count if:

    You're Level 18 +

    War clan player is Level 18 or 20 +

    Applicable for War clans in top 20 ranking only.
    [Maybe 30 - 40 for active servers]

    The only problem that this could create are taken care of with the conditions of kills getting counted in the quest.

    So this would only work on top 20 clans. The kills of only a Level 18 + member in top 20 clan will count.

    This would prevent sending more clan wars to weaker clans as their kills won't count.

    This will have a great advantage for many players and a step ahead to counter the problem of less players for finishing quests.

    Any views/improvements are welcome :)

    Though I hope to see critics with a better alternative :D

  2. NO, NO, AND NO... Go fight the other companies...o_O The idea behind the game is to protect your company and push the other two out of the way.

    This will only increase the number of company wars which are clearly out of control anyways. This does nothing to help the lower level player who may get a kill count on a level 18+ player. Your stated problem is wrong as it is not the only problem; It is the problem. You don't need the kill count to change to dominate. Most clan wars are initiated by top 10 clans by level 18+ players who really just go around killing all in the way and you find that is just about all those clans are doing is warring. The chat is just full of the mess. Go kill enemy players, and bring your company together, or is that too hard.:rolleyes:
     
  3. lol you'll have clans that war their own company over and over not that its not the case now but i can see this getting out of hand every noob clan will have no strong players because all those 18+ will go clan less to avoid jerk clans looking for kill counts bad idea if this is implemented alot will quit i would think

    this is like saying i'm going deer hunting but if i don't see any deer, hunters are open game.

    i can see it working if it cost uri to war other clans im not talking 100 uri make the clan pool together and really want to woop on the other clan if in same company it will cost the clan if enemy company its free at least this will make where a clan cant or it will hurt if they war the whole company but kill counts for quest should only be for enemy company's

    See, same company clan wars have been in the game from a long time. Though now it has become too much because of CBS & other updates (& maybe less players). Now it is part of the game.
    Those who say it is bad, well maybe it is but there is no other option. Clans now have allias/friends, even members in different companies. So if you fighting other company clans, their allias in your company would help them by shooting you. So what can you do apart from sending them war so you don't loose honor killing them?
    This is just one example, you'd better understand if you're in a top clan having bunch of same company wars.

    Now coming back to your concern, "It'd create more wars".
    Without certain terms/conditions, "yes". But not with terms of how kills will be counted. First of all, it'll work only for like top 20 clans (those who're already in this mess of same company wars).
    Weaker/low rank clan players will not be affected since their kills won't count.

    The reason I want this to be implemented is because for a top 10 - 20 clan, same company clan wars are daily routine. For me, its like 50 - 70% of the kills a day are from same company wars. I've war with #2 clan in my server and most of their members are in my company. I hunt their botters in 4-x and fight their members. Most clans in top 10 - 20 have same story.

    Now you talk about hunting other company players?
    Sounds too easy but not so, firstly because of so many wars and allias. Secondly, less players compared to before. So there are very less players in other companies who're neither a war or allia. Mostly newbies fall in this but I've no interest in killing them everyday.
    So how to complete long quests like 750 golis?
    Thats why this change in quest kill count will help many players.


    I know some top clans send wars to all weak clans in their own company. This has been an issue but my idea won't increase it cos their kills simply won't count in the quest. Though people may still do it but thats another concern.

    Since its limited only for top 20 clans. It'd not create any more wars as there is already heaps of wars among them. And declaring war to a top clan isn't affordable for all.
    On the other hand, it may have some benefits to weak/low rank clans whom some top clans sent war for nothing. (If they kill the top clan players, it would count in their quest but the vice versa won't be possible )

    The point is same company wars exists and already got worse. But you can't change it. It is how people play the game.
    Top 20 clans will keep fighting irrespective of their company, nothing to do here. The best thing to do is make those kills count for something :(

    Ofcourse, keeping in mind to cause no harm to others.
