[UI] Chat ban title and message

I had this thought today as I was parked next to a friend chatting and almost misspelled a word, thankfully I noticed it and fixed my error as it would have resulted in a chat ban I'm sure. Anyway, I was thinking there should be a title that can be put on or something that says we are chat banned, you could change your name but its only allowed every 48 hours so you might not be able to, so if you were talking to a someone and got chat banned for a misspelled word or some such you could put that title on and they could see that you aren't ignoring them you are in fact chat banned.

I was also thinking it would be nice if we got a message, maybe in the in game mail that included the reason we were banned, i was once banned 3 times for 1 hour each by the system for typing in someones name because their name can apparently be offensive in another language and it took me 3 days and a couple messages to support to figure out why i was banned and what was offensive. It would have been nice to receive a message in my inbox that said: you were banned for 1 hour for "[MESF]I-Am-Jack-Crow: whatever the offensive line was", it would help us know what to avoid and would be nice if we were banned by mistake which also happened to me recently and we could send a message or post on forums that it was not us in fact that made the statement because there would be a message stating the offensive line with someone else name on it.

 

If you are banned by mistake or otherwise, you can post in forums under chat and they will take a look at it. Since it is a private chat, you would not be banned for putting what was in the chat. Just be nice though. Just because its more private, does not mean you could not catch it worse for rubbing the mods raw.

I do like your idea. It is like players have a bullseye when they have negative honor. The title should come automatically saying banned or kicked. Sometimes, depending on what you are doing or when you are playing, you may not even realize you had been banned, or kicked for that matter.

 

I like both ideas but would take it one step further, have it posted where the achievement title is and it automatically pops up and down as the circumstance develops, this would also allow those who travel with the chat window closed to let people know they are not ignoring people just not reading either. I see lots of players I recognize but they never seem to want to talk to me (whether they are mad at me, don't remember me, or not running with chat open, are possibilities but all supposition on my part). And it is very true if you stopped typing in chat you would not know you had been kicked/banned from chat till you did type there and then find out you were not on a dead page but not in chat anymore.

It would also be nice to have the chat say they have been banned instead of offline or does not exist as you accuse them of being rude and leaving in the middle of a conversation. My fat fingers have got me kicked more than once because I hit 2 keys at once and did not notice it till I hit enter to post the message.
