[UI] Clan Payout

    Increase the clan payout per week or get rid of it. I would rather give my 6+ billion credits to new players to get them FE, so they can focus on getting lf4s, pilot bio instead of just getting their b02s lf3s and irises. It angers me that I can't help new players with my credits. It would bring more new players in the game if we could get their basic equipment quicker.

    They don't help directly, but it helps those players, get Iris, lf3s, b02s faster. Which means it takes less time focusing on that,a and quicker to focus on lf4s. Would you rather have a 2 flax ship looking for lf4s, or at least a Basic Full Elite ship?

  5. I am a 8 flax ship, but I get what you are saying. They basically capped it because players were making 2nd or 3rd accounts and using clan to pretty much instant FE their next account. Auction takes credits and depending on the server can take a little or tons for all the basic gear.

  6. Lots of better things to whine about. I think you need patience and not expect instant gratification at every turn. If you don't have time to send 6 billion credits over the course of six months then I am surprised you are old enough to complain about it.

    Send 6bil from account to clan is easy. Now try giving it to your clan mates. Have you ever tried that?
    Oh yeah. You maybe forgot there is a weekly cap of 5 mil. Oh and next week is 10mil. So how many weeks do you need to give all 6 bit to someone?

    I think I just counted for 10 weeks. It is 275mil. Oh and nearly forgot. It does not go that high too. It is capped at 250mil.

    So you will need around 25 weeks. Which is half a year. And this is not so great.

    So keep your patience to your self. To get to FE 6months is slow. How long it is to get UFE. 3 years without much money????

    Any sort of trading system would be great. Like most of other games do have.

    Its not about whining, I got 6 bill creds on my ship, 3 bill in my clan, all of those credits came from me.

    I also would rather have more fe ships than flax ships running around, at least with this they could get 18 b02s in their speed gens and maybe just maybe stand a chance.

    I'm sure youre one of those players who just hangs in lowers killing all the new players we have while uppers has a ton more players you can kill but it takes too much time.

    I agree with you, I'd rather give my credits to any new players that come out and have them build their ship as quickly as possible before they realize its gonna be a hard path.

    Back in 2009 I found 12 new players, I was Full Elite, I gave them credits took them in, taught them eveyrthing there was to know and in 2 months I had a top 50 Clan with 13 players whom all started from nothing and their first week I found them and asked them to join, it helped them in the long run because they could go into pvp as soon as they wanted.

    Why? There was no cap on the credits.

  9. i agree with you got shred loads stuff spare lf4s and god knows loads logs which im never going to get to use we should be able to give to new players if wish as we payed and earnt them .either that i want more pilot bio so can use my spare 1s up as for lf4s wats point dont need the other 400 lol crazy game
     
  10. LOL, just enough players so you could get whatever top bonus for new players that was out at the time. Player can still make FE in a few months if that is what they are working towards. I made FE in three months on several servers I am on without the help of a clan and no real money. Feel free to recruit others to your clan and help them out with credits. It will eventually dwindle down.

To the point of the thread "Clan Payouts" it used to have NO CAP to the amount that could be transferred and some less than reputable leaders decided they needed the credits more than the other members of their clan. They were assisting themselves to get better off others work. With the Anti-Pushing actions, D O decided to limit the amount of credits that could be sent to any player and also helped prevent clan jumpers trying to get millions of credits just by jumping clan to clan.

    There are many ways to assist getting credits to NEW players and clan banks is just one of them, assisting them kill NPC's while not in group is another, creating protection groups to assist them from getting popped by invaders or same company killers is another (but this is OLD School game play).

I think the clan funds should be unlimited by DO and just let the leaders decide how to divide them, i also think that the 10% tax on credits that were already a tax is ridiculous and should be removed. I have a friend that started playing and all i could send him was a couple mill for a ship and basic cred equipment when i wanted to send him about 500m for iris and LF-3 and Bo-2 and even to bid on log and CPU's. The bad of the cap outweighs the good at this point and i think we should remove it. as for the leaders exploiting noobs thats a mean thing to do but it is also voluntary to be in a clan and they could easily find a clan with a leader that would help them. - GOW

To put this into prospective, if this was a console game, you would be playing by yourself to build up your equipment at the start, running around doing the different missions that are assigned to get enough game money (no matter the type) to buy the item, or win the item at the end of that mission. While I understand the want to help new players get strong, one should show them the ropes as well. Nothing in this thread about getting new players credits so they can get that skylab going, which in the end is a credit generator. Only HMHY mentioning playing wingman in helping kill NPC and protecting from enemy fire. As you get stronger, you find you have stronger NPC to kill for missions but then a lot of players don't bother with that and are only in this game for the PVP kills/harassment. Lets show these players how to grow instead of turning them into the Hulk overnight.

This game requires a boost for new players because of the massive gap between a new 1 flax BO1 pilot with 0 PP and a UE pilot with 50 .. think of it as more of a handicap to keep the newer players to catch up faster more than a cheat to help them skip noobdome because only uri and time can do that
     
  16. It needs a boost for new players and a retention program to keep us around. Since starting to play, I have given over 6 bil credits to clans so players could bid on items, most of that before they made the change where you don't loose them when you loose on the auction. Meanwhile on my credit account, which is clanless, I scrap at every credit I can get my hands on in my 8 flax 16 pp BB/Nostro. It could easily use 2 bil credits to finish upgrading the flax drones (my prerogative). However, I keep scrapping by, working at making the credits I need and praying I can catch upgrade hour. I get wanting to help the new players with credits, and am for it but also feel that the current way it is set up, you can really see who wants to play and who would be wasting "Your" hard earned credits because their heart was not really in it.

You have been around long enough to see the people who would jump clan to clan to collect the credits they needed for their OWN SELFISH reasons and D O got tired of hearing the complaints of this and thus changed the PAYOUT structure to allow a protection and create CLAN LOYALTY to allow them to gain the credit help they think they need. The main reason for the credits is for AUCTION and since the change to this system to RETURN outbid credits (instead of losing them by not making a HIGH BID). YOU, yourself were able to get items much cheaper than others just because your name was so well known to others and got what you bid on (ships when you could only have one at a time). This is also the main reason there is such a surplus of credits now. Even the UFE would lose credits bidding on boosters as TOP RANKED players would get what they wanted, when they wanted, just because they would bid everything they had on them when they needed them, NOW since the bid is seen and credits are returned the surplus is created instead of used up.
