[UI] Configuration Transfers

So, I'm sure this has been proposed before.

I believe this system needs to be tweaked slightly so that a system's configuration can be transferred over any ship.

I have 2 thoughts

1 - Make it so the system takes equipment from a ship and places it on the selected ship. If slots of the ship are less, then it will choose the best equipment first. If more, then it will leave empty slots
2 - Create a save feature for different configurations of a ship. It would be a simple "Save/Overwrite/Load" feature. Once a configuration is saved, a player can press "Load" to put all equipment onto that ship. Any equipment on another ship is removed

Obviously, this isn't going to be at the top of DO's to-do list, but should be considered. They're already close with the new selection setup they implemented.

 

You are quite right!! This has been requested/thought of many times in the past by players including me!! There was a half hearted attempt with double clickng/shift/control sort of thing but definately needs a 'config' style feature

Is by far the easiest and player friendly solution. I think there was an answere somewhere regarding this idea. Dont think they are going to implement something like this TBH.

I would just like to see my hanger in order like it use to be, i mean you click to build a CBS now you have to scroll through all your items to find the lvl 16 mod's same as setting up your ship before all your leveled up lasers were all at the top starting from most upgraded to less.

 

If you shift-select all of your equipment and place it on your ship, it sorts out the highest upgraded items first
