[UI] Creating more variants of hellstorm launchers in the game

  1. If the game has more variants of equipment especially the hellstorm launchers, it will make the gameplay of people more creative and suits their playstyle.

    Ideas:
    • A hellstorm launcher with additional range but a drawback of less damage
    • A hellstorm launcher fit for pvp, deals more damage against players but less damage against npcs
    • A hellstorm launcher fit for pve, deals more damage against aliens but less damage against players
    • A hellstorm launcher fit for both pvp and pve, more damage gainst both pvp and pve but has longer cooldown times, or a less range
    Share me your ideas so that i can add them here on this thread.
     
  2. Sounds like an Ammo change instead of launcher. It would be too hard to make the switch between the different modes and longer cooldown/load times can be avoided by single shot firing of them. I would support new ammo choices instead of a launcher refit.

  3. ammo change is not really afforded by people especially if its in uridium currency, you know that UBR-100 haven't been on some events for a while now (permafrost fissure? yeah right like you can get them there without finishing atleast 20 of em to get a few thousands of ubr)

    Thats why its better if the type of hellstorm would be similar to ship warp, you can change type via gameplay without any disturbance of changing the exact launcher itself.

    im gonna edit later and just type in something else to clarify what was my point.
     
  4. Well the variations are going to cost Uridium also and UNLESS they install the "Equipment In Client", which the community was against a year ago, I do not see how this would benefit anyone. Even the LF-4 variants need to be assigned in the Hangar which means logged out or sitting on a base. Again, I believe it would be easier to make variants of the rockets fired and be done with it. As far as the UBR-100 are they not being made available on every Happy Hour like they used to? I have not looked recently but that was when everyone got their stock supplied again, for 24 hours after the start of the happy hour this special ammo was available in SHOP.

    Perhaps one with 50% less cool down time between volleys for all non battle cruiser "or bigger" class ships.
