  1. Hello,

the Dark Orbit Team is working on a Cross Server solution here is my suggestion.

-Cross Server Matchmaking (You can build your own Team by inviting them into a lobby and play competitive)
You can choose between 2vs2, 3vs3, 5vs5 and 8vs8 (Max. Group)
If you die you will not respawn you will see the perspective of your teammates so you can still enjoy the match.
There should be rewards for every month in every category.
    1 Global Ranking for all servers in 2vs2, 3vs3, 5vs5 and 8vs8.

    -Cross Server Battlezone
That is basicly 1 Map like on the test server but without any Clan Station.
All 3 Companies can fight there with no limits unlimited respawns and a strong Server that can handle hundrets of players.

    - Cross Server TeamDeathMatch with 2 Companies (MMO vs EIC, MMO vs VRU and EIC vs VRU)
You can choose between 10vs10, 25vs25 and 50vs50.
Gamemode: 10 Minutes the company with the most kills wins if you die you will respawn at a random spot of the map with full hp and shield on both configurations
not like the old TDM with a beacon where you can spawnkill your enemies and they left.

    -Cross Server Sector Control
Gamemode: Reworked Sector Control not with 300 Points at the beginning so it ends in 3 Minutes
Every Company should starts with 5000 Points and lose 4 Points per second if your company havent controlled any spot for every spot that your company control your company will lose 1 Point less per second.
If you control 4 spots you will not lose any points if you control 2 spots you will lose 2 points per second etc.
The Company with the last Points remaining wins. The minimum Gametime with 5000 Points would be something around 25 minutes but if you are getting bored you can leave the Sector control.
All 3 companies should be equal in numbers the normal Sector control was made with 15 players per company
Maybe 2 versions 1 sector control with 15 players and one with 25 per company.

What is your opinion write it down or give some of your ideas in the comments down below.

  2. It's dependent on your target group: everyone or Ufe? If you prioritize the very good players this
    should be good enough.

If you want to see every kind of players, because probably there won't be enough teams/ solo players available, they should add some hourly rewards for only participating (e.g. the rare Plasmid, green Booty Key, some log files...)

There is a whole ton of possibilities once the cross-server is introduced successfully.

We could re-invent events like fight for influence/domination.
Fight for influence was actually one of the very few game modes that i enjoyed in this game alongside with the built-in domination event. I enjoyed the ways you can actually play PvP in these modes and let's be honest: who didn't like this? The most i know actually liked it so i think it would be one of the best comebacks of older events.

New game mode: King of the Zone
A game mode i wanted to suggest in an extra thread but i think i use this opportunity. An addition of a "King of the zone" Game mode would also be great, especially if cross server becomes a successful addition to the game.

King of the zone is a game mode where fighting inside a specified zone is essential. Kinda similar to domination but also a tad different. King of the zone shortly explained is where you try to gather points by fighting as close in the center of the zone as possible. As example, fighting and surviving for a long time in the very center of the zone gives you the most points over time but you also benefit the most from kills within it.

In detail, i made a small image to showcase what i mean:

Basically the further you are inside of the ring, the more points you get... you have both a continuous points flow and a reward of points when you kill someone... dunno, a single round could probably take around 10 minutes or something and the one who gets the most points during this time wins, or we add a total goal of let's say 1000 points... 1 kill gives 20 points, every second you gain 1 point... if you sit in the center (x3) you get 60 points per kill and you gain 3 points per second... but i would prefer a run time.

It's not just PvP-Modes that would benefit from this...
No, also PvE-Modes could be a tad more useful with large amounts of players. Invasion could become fun again, we could think of adding a new PvE-Event with giant bosses with several millions of health and shield, we could add survival game mode where fighting for survival is actually good with multiple players who can heal or tank. There is so much we could do it PvE as well.

There is a lot we could do with this...
